Look online you can find them at hardware stores target has them as well as midwest grow kits

I just grabbed a 12-pk of quarts at target a couple weeks ago.

The mushrooms from the 1 jar that i cased are way bigger than the sgfc but my other jar that was cases the same day still just growing fuzzy white mycelium...probably because the mushrooms in the jar are Blue meanies the shotgun fruiting chamber is Golden teachers?

I just read this whole thread, and I'm very interested in starting my own. Mushroom(any) cultivation is intimidating, but y'all ease the mind quite a bit for me. Give me a month or two, and I'll come back and share some results.

Woke up and noticed the veils breaking on my first jar that was cased a few days ago...the other is just now showing pins. In my little experience from this one and only grow the yeild has been slightly more with sgfc but i will say casing the top of the jars with coco and verm gives really nice fruits

Yea my biggest mushrooms came from the first jar i cased, after the first flush in the jar i birth it and now its in the sgfc starting to pin for a second flush

Second flush for middle 3 and 1st flush all others included jar looking like scroom city.... still have 5 jars 3 have major pins and can be birth any time other 2 one 1 pin waiting for more. The monotub spawned from 1 1/2 brf cakes that i broke attempting to birth early before mycelium consolidated fully on 10/29 is looking great with a pin already... i also nocd 4 bags of uncleben brown rice with 2cc of blue meanies i forgot i had in the fridge i told my wife take all my clothes out the dresser i need place to put more mushrooms

Nice! I just spawned 2 more jars to bulk monotub as well as nocd 4 bags of uncleben. My first 18 jars were from midwest too but honestly for me they are too expensive for the amount of mushrooms they return. Only way ill use the jars again will be popcorn invitro tek from @canndo thread
Also just ordered b+, lizard kings, jedi mind fuck, & rusty white from spore cellar they have 10.99 syringes plus if you buy 2 get one free. I ended up with 6 syringes for 46 dollars free same day shipping too. Next time i will be growing APES

Your spawning bfr cakes with bulk substrate i to monotubs? Maybe il have to try it with a few jars.

Was planning to case my golden enoki into glass mason jars to see if i can produce nice clusters like the store bought asian beach/shimeji mushrooms

Yes its not as easy i as thought to birth dunk fan spray and all that for 18 cakes i have a huge sgfc and its not alot of mushrooms compared to whatd id get with less spores and easier methods check out uncle bens tek

Yea ive had some friends that were doing uncle bens tek. My apt is super small and everything im doing is in my 4x4 tent. So this setup was super easy. 52 hours in and now signs of myc growth tho
