I harvested yesterday, the buds are still wet and uncured.

Now that she's been cut, does anyone know a non-destructive way of fast drying a bud out so I can test it?

I know it will be grassy and the flavour profile will be miniscule at this point but I'd like to see what the strength of it is.

I just put a bud on a paper plate and leave it out for a couple days. But it's really dry here in CO. A fan blowing on it would speed it up too. There are a lot of ways people do it. Even the microwave as a last resort.

I thought of the microwave but it seems extreme. All the little trichs bursting and spraying hot plant juice everywhere.

I guess I'll seperate a nug and leave it to dry on the table. The suspense is killing me!

On top of a modem or such would be the best bet without hurting the trichomes as much as a oven or microwave.

Roughly 5 minutes in and it's been a ride.

Hit fast and hard, made my eyes squiggle for a millisecond.

Mellowed out and I am definitely stoned.

Considering the mini amount I smoked, this is a mean tease considering I can't smoke more for weeks.

I grew some really stoney weed.

Take a cereal box cut a hole big enough for your hair dryer put about 5 pencil size holes on both sides set hairdryer on cool and in about 1/2hr should be able to smoke as always thank you for your time and the best of luck

Microwave on Defrost. Do it in 2 minute increments. Also timing depends on bud size ect.... Checking, and turning each 2 minutes. Ive got it down to a science. Been doing it since the early 80s. Youd be surprised how good it can be, IF you keep a super close watch on it, and do not let it get to dry. But you really have to keep close watch, and the 2 minute timing may go out the window, when it starts to get down to the last bit of moisture. may want to let it only go 25-30 seconds then. Main this is dry it as slow as possible, and do not fry it.

Or use the Warm Setting, but will take 3x longer..... Defrost is 30% power, Warm is 10%.... Just do the same, and keep a constant check, and check it more and more often as the moisture content goes down.
warm is better, but it just takes longer. Much less likely to fry the trichomes

10 minutes in

I'm still feeling a head high, it is moderate stonyness with a 'glazed' feel to it.

I feel like I just smoked some Opium and it's starting to kick in.

About 20 minutes later.

I'm not stoned but I'm definitely not sober. I feel chill and edgy. My outter body is edgy and my core is chill.

Not my favorite come down but it should do the trick. Maybe the come down will mellow after the cure.

thc affects the individual differently. the same edibles i made from fresh cut trim put me to sleep and kept my neighbor up for 2 days with a speedy high. I'm like hell I cant even get off the couch

I'm at the 40 minute mark and I just caught myself spacing out.

I feel about 95% sober and 5% staring at the floor pattern.

I'm gonna give the rating of 9/10

Tiny amount of scissor resin smoked for a big stone

Loved the fast hit
Loved the hard hit
It hits like Opium
Squiggle eyes
Long lasting
Rough come down, too edgy
Mellow burn out
Couchlock is minimal

If I could have let the plant go longer I think it would have been perfect.
