Nanners late in flower.

I noticed what appeared to be a nanner yesterday. Cut it out while it was out of the tent to be sure. Inspected the plant a solid 45 minutes and found no others..

Today I've found another (pics attached). Does this mean I should pull her early to ensure she doesn't pollinate the slower plants in the tent? I have spent the past 45 minutes inspecting every cola and this is the only one I've found. Should I pluck it out with tweezers and inspect again daily?

The other plants in the tent are also 54F. If they get pollinated this late in flower, are they likely to form solid seeds quickly? So far they don't seem to be pregnant... Plenty of white hair still shooting up. And out of curiousity, how much of a plant can one sac -getting missed even pollinate?

Thanks in advance!!

It might be sterile if you're lucky, or unlucky if you want seeds. I actually let a clone only Chem 91 throw nanners hoping it would pollinate my clone only Green Crack, but I haven't found any sign of seeds anywhere.

But my first grow I had other plants that had nanners and some of my shit was starting to get pollinated. I think it was the Ghost of LeeRoy that spread the pollen that round.

Is it something I can combat by plucking and daily inspection, or am I playing with fire? She's pretty close to the harvest window so I'd like to push through if it's feasible. The other plants may come down a week or two after..

So far the two nanners are on different colas far apart on the plant. Temps have been 24C tops. These weren't even closest to the light so it's not light stress either.

At worst then my if my understanding is right, my seeds would be blueberry fem or blueberryxgg#4 fem?

I would pull it. You can always make up for it with a nice dry/cure. The high should be more uplifting as well.

If you leave it and miss a few that pop up, you may end up with a few seeds in random buds, anywhere from 10-100s. Depending on how many pop and if they even produce any pollen/where the plant is in the room (right in front of the fan blowing across the younger plants would be worst case scenario lol)

I'd let them finish. Then spray everything down with water to kill the pollen before next grow. You can add a little bleach too to help clean everything if you want.

They could be decent seeds, or they could be more prone to throwing nanners. Some great strains came from a seed from nanners.

I was planning on harvesting this bad girl in 2 stages, is the less mature growth just as likely to shoot them up now too? Sorry if these questions are retarded lmao.

I've got a 5x5 filled to the brim with flowers. Would like to not spend the next however many months picking out seeds. Definitely would pop a few that I'm now sure to find. I'm not afraid of some seeds. I'm very concerned about getting 1000s though!!

Will definitely deep clean everything between flowering cycles too.

Takes time to form the seeds if there are going to be any. You might notice a slowdown in bud growth because the plant will throw energy towards the seeds. Fingers crossed you are close to harvest and won't experience anything fully matured as far as seeds go. Guess that could be both good or bad depending. I had a few here and there and have had success growing one. :weed:

How long exactly in your experience to get solid seeds that wouldn't fall apart in a grinder? Because I was initially thinking the gg#4 plants I've got going could use 3-4 more weeks...
Not sure. Might check in with the pollen chuckers they might have a thread on how long they take to form.

I spent a solid 2 hours with the plant and only found 2 nanners today. Both immature and I plucked them off. I think I'll give it a few more days and inspect daily to see what we've got. The plant is 25"x40" and 28" tall. I really want to get it to a good harvest window if possible!!

On another note. What's everyone's yield estimate on this baby?? Just cleared the yellowing/gnarled growth off since I had it out.

I would chop dem if there are new ones appearing every other day. Especially when they are comming out of the main colas. But it is probably personal choice of each grower...

Bummer. I just lost 4 plants at 4 weeks into flower, all of them hermie, the entire plant went from nice, white flowers to brown pistils everywhere, flowers stopped growing. I pulled some flowers apart with tweezers and every single one had seed pods inside. Still not sure what happened, I think I lollipopped too much after flipping, they were out of control and I chopped too much. Live and learn.

Since theres no way I can harvest for at least a few days I've decided I'll give them a daily inspection. If I find new signs of nanners by Saturday after plucking off yesterdays, then I'll probably chop Saturday. If none, will go one more week with daily checks/plucking.

Does anyone see clear signs that my plant has been pollinated based on my pics? Still seeing the odd new white pistils growth across the plant and I don't see seeds poking out (yet)

Spent about an hour and a half with this plant today looking for nanners. Found only one. Scoped the buds that I've seen them on this far and they're all 90% cloudy with a mix of amber and clear for the rest, mostly amber.

Can't take a picture worth a damn though with that thing. She really is beautiful although the added stress of these nanners is not what I needed.
