Where did "breath" strains originate?

Big strains growing up for me were Northern lights, green crack, Jack herer, OG kush, purple kush, bubba kush and some newer ones like death bubba, gorilla glue, nuken, romulan, blackberry kush, blue cheese etc.

I'm just curious when and where did all the breath strains come from? Peanut butter breath, kush breath? Anytime I would want a good kush I would ask for that "kush burn" in the back of your throat type bud. Are these breath strains just that? Sorry haven't smoked much besides my own clones, I feel out of the loop.

There's supposedly a "Lamb's Breath" Jamaican heirloom sativa as well.

Think it's AKA Lamb's Bread. But I don't know if it's true to the heirloom.
That's all I know and have heard.

It might have been a Strain Hunters episode I saw it. If I remember i'll link the video.

That’s Lambs Bread but some people call it Lambs Breath because it sounds the same when a Rastafarian with heavy accent says it.

I found the video. It was a SH episode.
34:15 there's a bit about Lamb's Breath.

Probably my favourite episode of them all. There's some really cool propagation techniques.
Really like the grow in the beginning with the natural well.

No means a fan. They're an entertaining watch though.
Morocco episode is fantastic too.

franco was the man I'd totally trade places with him on any of their adventures, sucks they profit largely off rare phenos that the farmers have no market for

Yeah Franco was / is a legend. So passionate about what he did. Enthusiastic as all get out.
So's the fella with the dreads.

You can tell Arjian only sees the $$$ in something. At least he comes off that way.

I was under the impression that Tennessee Hogsbreath was what OG kushbreath worked. A stanky tooth decaying stench was what he was after. I imagine (I am not a farmer) a hog doesn't have the sweetest smelling breath
Lambsbread/breath is a sativa, so that wouldn't really fit as a big time kush.

Thank you. But hey, lambs bread was bob marley and Peter Tosh's fave smoke.

Had "Sharksbreath" in mind when I read the OP. I do stand corrected otherwise I believe. Cheers.

Where did you get that impression? AFAIK OGKB is a cookie cut, named after the guy who was growing it.
