Most the hairs are turning red but it’s only day 50 and have been flushing for about 5-6 days, good time to cut or wait the full 60? How much weight difference would it be if I cut down a week early?

That is only 7 weeks and a day, which is way to early. Go to at least 63, then start checking them tri(s)!

hairs dont matter.
days dont matter.

if you really wanna know, look at the trichomes. you need a jewelers loupe or some sort of microscope to see them
The sometimes sad truth. lol

@op Generally 60 days (2 months) for indica dominant plants and as much as 90 days (3 months) for sativa dominant plants, especially "landrace strains".

The strains I'm growing right now: Creamsicle (55 days), Gorilla Breath (60 days) are my averages over the last 4 cycles to where the trichomes were looking just milky and hairs were all orange.

You want ultimate quality in your potency then the only way to judge is by a microscope looking at the trichomes with clear light (no HPS or orange lighting) and seeing if your trichome heads are creamy/milky. When they are milky that is when the THC is ripe and optimal, once they turn orange/amber on the trichome heads you will get a more couch lock sleepy heavy effect.

I personally like to avoid the sleepy strains and highs because I'm already hypersomniac I don't need any more sleeping problems lmao.

Why does the right thing always have to be difficult though? Has no man ever taken a shortcut and saved lives doing it? Remember when people crossed the behring strait to get into America without knowledge of sailing? Seems like that paid off quite nicely.

That's not quite the same thing but I get where you're going with it. It reminds me of a story my old man's old man told him and he told me. He said these guys were crossing that same behring strait, and it was treacherous and many things fell off their canoes and stuff. Some lost paddles. Anyway it was hard. Turns out of they'd just wanted 2-3 weeks they could've ridden their horses or atvs or whatever they had back then across that strait because the tide goes out! Crazy right? Anyway I think what we all learned here is to always wait 2-3 weeks and check back.

My grandpa's grandpa was in the same group. He told me that because they crossed when they crossed there wasn't any water. They left the canoes and were able to walk to the tree line which was a far walk. Those who waited were never seen again. Rumor is they were a little bit higher from smoking a perfectly ripe herb and fell asleep. They went on to form Russia. We formed America. One day we too got a little bit higher... but we never went full commie. Once you cause a famine in another country to make liquor for your own... that's pretty commie.
