Anyone watching season 2? Spoilers from the latest episode.

The latest episode with Bill Burr talking about invading other planets and killing the natives. Then the general in the mess hall talking about the cost of "freedom" and everyone sacrificed were "heroes"? Did anyone else think of this episode as a metaphor for the Iraq War?

I recognized a few people in it. That “Woody” guy who had the first house rebuilt, I’ve ran into him quite a few times. Cool dude. The builder was my neighbor. Ran into that cop quite a few times too, can’t really say the same about him, but I do feel sorry for him too.
There’s a scene where he(the cop)was driving and took a turn right where I thought I was gonna die. Right in front of that fire station. Was stuck there for a long ass time as the glow was getting closer and closer. Was pitch black but thick ass smoke with like 10” glowing embers coming at us by then. Transformers, or propane tanks, probably transformers were blowing up like right next to us it seemed. Holy shit why did I view this thread :confused:
