So my dutch pro chart states 2.2 for the e.c,
Im on 1.2 and the plants look fine
is it really necessary to take the plants all the way to 2.2?
Or how high should i go with them any info be great thanks

As high as they can take. Some plants can take that high but most don't need it. On the other hand most plants can take a lot more than you'd think.
Unless you are bottom feeding then pick up the plastic stands for your pots so they aren't sitting in run-off, about $3 each.

1.8 is the max I normally go but currently got one strain that looks like it wants more.

If its looking like that on 1.2 I woukd expect it to maybe finish on 1.7 ish as you work your way up week over week

Personally I run with Dutch pro grow start to finish.
Extra calmag.

usually as follows.

Water EC 0.2
calmag 0.2
Base Nutes 0.4-1.4 depending on stage of growth.

If I’m blasting PK boost for a week I increase calmag to 0.4EC. while not exceeding 1.4 total.

seedling early veg 0.4-0.6
Mid to late veg 0.6-1.0
Stretch 1.2-1.4
Mid flower 1.4
Late flower 1.0-1.2
Ripening 0.6-0.8
Harvest.

This is my latest PK booster (haven’t used yet)

monopotassium phosphate 0-52-34 will be used sparingly.

14g dissolved into 100ml of water. 1ml per litre = EC increase between 0.1-0.2.

Only plan on using it for daily feeds during week 5.

no dutch pro bloom?

My last run was first grow in years....
First time in coco/clay pebbles and first times using dutch pro nutes..

I wasnt impressed as the buds seemed small but was lovely smoke everyone says who tried it.

I no a few things like freezing cold floor and big change between day and night temps would have been a factor in the stretch aswell as strain.....
Im just hoping these dont end up the same

this is my last run first in qbout 4 year i planned on 18 small plants to be done for xmas ha 20201130_155902.jpg20201123_120142.jpg20201112_132954.jpg

Depends on lots of things like temperature, light etc. For example my mothers who are in a somewhat low temperature, low infrared led room are getting an ec at 3/3,5 at the moment.

Personally after running Dutch pro for the last 6 years I ditched the BLOOM ages ago. There’s more N in the bloom than in the GROW.

I’ve found with using additional Calmag and Epsom along with the EXPLODE and the GROW there really isn’t anything else you need.

only difference this time is I’ve dropped the explode and made my own PK.

Another thing is are you feeding daily as a minimum?

Yes i water every day with 1ltr, i might try that and give one plant grow all the way through and see if any differnce
Do you get enough run off from your 1L in?

if you’re putting in 1 litre you should be getting out 200ml as runoff?

another thing I like to do once a month is run for 2-3 feedings in a week of feeds where I just use CalMag at an elevated level. Match EC of Calmag to EC of your feeding level. EC 0.8 then match Calmag to 0.8 for a couple of feeds.

I’ve found by doing this helps to keep the coco a lot more stable without any built up salt issues.

everyone says make sure of runoff and you won’t get problems but in experience it can still cause a build up of Salt even though achieving good runoff is still warranted (although at low enough EC you can manage no runoff)

the Calmag helps to rebuffer the coco in my opinion while it’s being used and allows the stability of the coco during daily feedings to remain consistent.

I increase the Calmag on PK feedings because the additional Ca helps with the uptake of extra PK.

Yes i do maybe get around 200ml run off i check my run off regulary to make sure it isnt rising, last grow i was doing 2ltrs and wasting loads off run off i sumtime fed two or 3 times with the same nutes as e.c wasnt rising

If i was to follow the canna feed chart I'd fuck up my plants, then spend a small fortune fixing them, it's a great business plan if you're canna not so good for the punter.
An ec of 1.0/1.4 gets me through cloning, vegging and flowering.

I let the plants tell me what's needed and from what I can see your plants look fine and healthy to me they don't need anymore imo.
