I did the same, only I learned I didn't need to. I spent way too much on crap I thought I needed, On a bunch of crap bottled nutes that weren't needed. Oh yea...I went thru that. I learned the hard way, but I learned.

when you were running at 1.4 prior to the rot, were they eating normally? EC was dropping daily?

for plants that size, 1.4 seems like too much to me if the roots were healthy. i'm wondering if nute burn led them to be more susceptible to rot?

No i was originally at .9-1 ec and they were eating normally. At .9 ec water was falling, ec static and oh rising slowly. Now that u mention this, thats about when this started was when the ec got pushed up to 1.4. I added hormex for the roots and I bet you thats what did it right there

They look better today, some are starting to pray a bit again.and they yellowing didnt get sny worse since last night. Ec is at 1 ppm at 550 and ph rose from 5.75 last night at 930pm to 6.02 at 12 noon today

Sounds a lil better now. Things happen fast in dwc. Changes for better or worse are quickly noticeable.

Exactly. Get the roots straightened out and better overall health. Then gradually start pumping them up with nutes.

Ill lower it at lights on so my ro can fill for a few hours.

I do have a ? Regarding rhe po shocm for you though. Already today ot doesnt sme like chlorine at all. How often should i add the chlorine at this stage?

like i said, this is kinda tricky. how about a dose of 1ppm at lights on and then one more at 1ppm at lights off? try that for a day or so and see how they react.

does it seem like it's doing anything yet??

as you get more used to using the shock, you'll notice what you are noticing now. that chlorine smell goes away: faster with rot too.

With just my green light on i cant tell. But the smell in all the buckets and putting my nose right into the roots is gone pretty much completely (i smelled them all)

Also (again with just my green light on) it looks like the roots are alot more perky then yesterday and possibly some newer ones. Ill know better once lights come on though

I can say forsure right now that alot of the plants are WAY better droop wise then yesterday but my smallest ones are still struggling (they never rooted like the other ones ) they have them but thier 75% less then all 21 ither plants. Also those 7 that are way behind are the ones that i fimmed and topped. The rest i just LST and theyre 3x the size.
