What is causing this? COCO

Hey guys,
I recently switched to coco. I am using Goldenlabel 70/30 coco/perlite
I al feeding the Ironhead formula.
I cant find CaliMagic in my area so i am using GHEs new CalMag supplement.
The CalMag I am using is 4%Cal and 1%mag
I added 1ml per L of it to my res making it nearly double of the suggested amount of CaliMagic in ironheads formula. Is it possible that I got a lockout doing this?
Also i was watering with too little drainage I think.

I run RDWC in my main room, but I have been dabbling with coco for the past year in my 4x4 pheno tent.
I also keep my mothers in coco.
Can you give us some info on the ph and ec of your feed and how often you're feeding them?

Yeah looks good, could be just light not hitting the lower leaves and eventually older leaves die off regardless.
I'd just keep an eye on it, if it gets worse then check the PPM of the tap water and consider pumping up the nutes a bit, be sure u r using calmag. Always check for bugs, often they start low and work there way up.

Ph 5.8 EC about 1.2 (ironhead formula). I am feeding them every 3-5 days
Most feed at least once a day.

"Nutrient levels and nutrient balance
The amount of nutrient and the nutrients balance are difficult to watch on a day-to-day basis. If you are using a well-balanced nutrient solution and a more regular short & frequent feeding regime, then there is less chance that the plant will run out of a particular element because the complete balance of elements is continually being supplied. Knowing the level of nutrient is relatively easy by taking an EC reading (EC just measures the amount of salt). To know the actual balance of the nutrient in the media you would need a lab analysis of the media which is obviously not going to happen for most growers.
There are a number of factors that make maintaining that balance difficult. Knowing what the plant water and nutrient usage is for growth; knowing how much run-off is needed to keep salts down in the media and knowing how much evaporation the plant has are the primary three factors that come to mind."

You could get away with running 1.2EC in coco (although they'd be happier at 1.5EC), IF you were to feed every day or more. The problem is that you're feeding every 3-5 days. The nute's are likely being eaten up by day 2, and plants are getting hungry after that. If you don't wanna bump up your EC, at least feed them every day. No coco is not like soil, and shouldn't be treated as such. You need to water everyday to runoff, preferable 2 or 3 times a day on a auto-water system. Otherwise you should just use soil.

Is it true that I have to water coco every day? I water my coco kinda like I did soil. Is this bad?
You need to keep it wet and water til run off... if you don't then you need to feed weaker solution. When it dries the salts from the ferts build up and can cause issues. Its easier to water drain to waste.

What are the temps and rh? Lights, air movement and ec ph of your feed? Show us a pic of your environment

1.2 is only around 600ppm on RO, that might be sufficient for small plants but once they get bigger, like the one in the pic, I pump it up.
I see from your response 'any response from anyone else' that u dont take stock in my advice. Hey, what do I know? View attachment 4792727
What ec do you max at here? Qnd are these gravitas?
