J/K. True story that beauty is from bag seed. Strain is a Pre 98 Bubba Kush. Looks a lot darker in person, with some hints of purple. Not sure why my camera made it look so limey.
No flush. Never watered to run off and apparently this is a no-no too, but I water with plain H2O twice a week. Never PH'd the water or nutes, never measured EC/PPM. She did suffer a little heat stress until the cooler temps kicked in this month.
Medium was Sunshine #4 (Peat moss) amended with dolomite or Espoma Lime at ~1tbs/gal
1kw DE HPS for light over a 4x4 space.
Feed Schedule twice per week: GH Flora Trio + CaliMagic + Kool Bloom Dry + Molasses + Floralishous Plus + SuperThrive + Bio Weed + Silca. I use an old GH Hydro Schedule (5,10,15 ml/gal) so it's a pretty hot mix and all the amendments are fed at max recommendations, except Kool Bloom Dry, which I use at 2-3 grams/ml per gallon. Never PH'd
Then twice per week: it's plain H2O straight from the tap - chloramine and all + Great White (once a week). If I spot some sort of deficiency, I use my "water days" to address that. Usually a CalMag issue will creep up once or twice and then go away.
Three times a week: GO Bloom/Gro + Silca + CaliMagic + Black Diamond + Molasses + Bio Weed + Floralishous Plus + Kool Bloom Dry (2-3grams/gal).
It's a pretty complicated feed schedule, which I'll be changing, but not much. IMHO/experience the organics 3x a week really stabilize the soil. That's why I don't bother with PH. With this system I've fed/watered with some pretty wacked PH and it always runs off at ~6. So ignore PH unless something seems out of whack.
When I use up the last of my Flora Trio, switching to the Maxi series powders.
I've been using Kool Bloom Dry forever, but lately, I've noticed if I use it at full strength I get Phosphorus burn. If I use it at ~1/2 strength, then I get Potassium deficiency. So no matter what I'm frying my big water leaves (the ones that everybody seems to be stripping off their plants now-a-days). NPK on Kool Bloom Dry is ~2-45-28 (irrc). IMHO, the P&K need to be more balanced, ie 30-30.
