Ph problem.

As far as the meter goes, it's important that is calibrated and accurate. As far as the hydroguard goes, I add it every res change just as a preventative. It definitely doesn't hurt to add it
It most certainly is calibrated and accurate. And what comes to hydroguard, thats what i do too. As a preventative. Its a small money for ensuring there's no problems that could have been avoided.

Don't use it if you run sterile though. You'll just kill the bennies.

ok, I guess I skipped over those calibration pics. I thought you were showing your ph and didn't even click on it, sorry, you are spot on. Your meter appears to be accurate (for now) and reads actual ppm's so you are already ahead of 90% of the members here. Nothing explains your ph drop though............unless your nutes aren't really rebranded GH nutes. When you mix up your nutes, does it come out to around 1300 ppm like your calibration solution?

Well, it depends on how much i add nutes. With 8-16-24 it is around 1.00-1.10, i vegged with approximately 0.7-0.8. I follow if the ec reading goes up or down and adjust the solution accordingly.

I think i got it. I flushed and flushed (with both kleen and hydrogen peroxide) until the runoff ec stopped at 0.30 (first flush it was 0.65) and yesterday i tried with nutrients again, at least yet there's no signs of such drastic drops of ph.
