Ok. Ive got some china home made leds with 2×220 meanwell and samsung chips at 50cm. Just did some defol yesterday and today, the pics are after. They were super bushy. U think this is becauce light are to close? They will stretch more if i increase distance?
Folowing the same specs as for sf4000 as its about the same strenght....i think...as but ive been asking myself, and others, if its to close. Nodes be siameeeese like. .
And low and bushy.

Should I go to 60?

70?

69?

Peace✌

So you mean i should raise ppm until leaf tip burn?
Why not try to keep it at the low end of the scale to save nutes?
My reason is: Thats the only true way to fully know your phenos and understand each ones needs.

For you though , its different. If you are kinda new then you have no reason to "push" them if your just trying to get the best quality possible.
You are doing great and i see nothing but healthy plants. BEAUTIFUL sir! Keep doing exactly as you are doing, i dont think they could be more happy right now.
I would suck up all the info i could get from these guys. You'll get some damn solid info here. If it were me though i would not change anything at all.

70-100 just for stretch reasons, lower um back down for flowering and fastest growth. Just my opinion... Are you rockin boards or strips from china ?
Strips. 5 strips with some reds and 2times 220 meanwell as a rig.

Seing youtube vids with the led high and reading it should be low. .

What d u meen guys?

Ok gonna raise them.

Coco or not you're keeping it too wet. You have algae growing on the perlite. Many say to water daily no matter what. I disagree with that and never followed that when growing in coco. If the coco is still completely wet it doesn't make any sense to just keep adding more moisture. You don't want the coco to dry out but if you have algae growing then it's staying too wet. Plants look good and it's not that critical but your just dumping nutes down the drain.

Getting algae no matter what with PLAGRON ROOT STUFF. Coco a and b is ok and zym to k think but root is some organic stuff that goes green after 5 mins

Nobody should tell you that they need to be low. Low is a preference. low to me is 25" , low to some is 6" ....

I would raise them to 70-100cm IF YOU WANT them to stretch more. The plants are telling me that whatever you are doing right now is GREAT. They love it.
I would not worry so much about ppm runoff and all that , i would worry more about giving them the same as you been giving them but adjusting for them getting bigger in time.

Super new to this

Looking good?

So, about 700ppm in and 300out.

Read it should be in 100 to 300 above and be aware if above 300.

Read that below is no prob, it should adjust.

Been low and getting lower for 2 weeks, been adjusting ppm up from 550 to 700.

Should I go higher when da babys look so good?

I want to understand this. I dont want to waste nutrients and risk burn to get the ppm in place.

Anyone?
Hey man, I see you got a bunch of advise so I won't clutter up the thread. I would personally shoot for a PH of around 6, that's what I set mine at and the plants are happy. The main thing you want to make sure of is that your runoff is not higher than your input. I would not worry too much with the looks of your plants. Pay attention more to your plants than your meter. It will tell you if there is an issue. Good luck man, hope it goes well for you.

EDIT: Take a look at this chart, at a PH of 5.5 you are cutting out too many things, this will show when it starts flowering so you should sort that out.
