4sho ma man. Everything is done without haste.

nice chart but....theyve been getting no potassium til now? cause ive been feeding 5.5 all d way.
I get that. It's only a couple points on the ph chart, it must be getting some. Just not optimal IMO. 5.5 doesn't help potassium or magnesium.

Ey, what do you mean?

"Organic matter dont stand a chance"

This some high level shiznit i dont understand?

✌✌✌
His soil is so ALIVE that it can convert organic matter into plant food very fast in that environment. nothing to do with your setup sir.
Although , your plants are healthy as heck too

I hate everything to do with ph. I hate the word itself BUT with all my understanding , I would bump it up to 6.0 ish.
Listen to your plants more then us though.....they are telling you to keep them as is. All this info is for future reference.

Your girls are obviously getting everything they need but that dont mean another pheno will be the same.... Take our info and incorporate it into the op over time. no need to change anything now.

I hear that, PH can be a pain. Especially when most cannot count on their meter being totally accurate. "Listen to your plants" is about the best advice you could give

I used to have a very expensive hannah instruments ph meter. The single most important advice i can think of when ph'ing is to check your meter before every single use. So always have a calibrated solution laying around even if its just a can of coke.

I use a Dr Meter and always double check its readings with a drop kit. Super cheap and effective.

Hi again ma dudes!

So ive been thinking i should defoliate, prune and do some lst on these bushy girls.

I am going to install a scrog, or maby 2, but i dont want it to low, going to wait for them to stretch some more.

Its week 6 in veg.

DEFOLIATE
Should I remove mostly big fan leaves? The biggest fan leaves have purple stems and come of really easily. Seems like they want to come of.

PRUNING
So, should i just start at the bottom and wprk my way up to 1/3 of the plant? Remove stalks with few or big distance between nodes?

LST
I started to tie down 5 to 7 tops on the girls. But there are so many, when i tie 1 down 2 new pops up. Been thinking maybe i should drop the lst and wait for them to be raedy to scrog.

What do you think?✌

I hate defoling but , i would do it on your ladies while in veg. i try not to take anything after veg.

Yours are so bushy that i would probably remove 75-100% of the big fans, that way you can see exactly what your working with. Now you can pick out 4-20 tops on each plant that you want to keep as tops and focus on them only.....trash the rest of the plant.

Start slow....just take the fans off.... yes the plant wants them and no they are not ready to come off but its the best thing to do right now. Once you do that , you will really be able to see how much plant you have to work with.

Your plants are so bushy that i would leave the bottoms alone until after you defol a bit.....then get a good idea of what you want to keep and what you want to toss out.
I'll go defol one if you really need pics but i think you will be alright...

Removing 75 to 100%?

I dont think i dare

Did 1 now, the one in pics. Wanna wait and se how it reacts before doing the rest.

I'd pull all the large dark green fan leaves around the top. They are probably blocking a lot of light to the lower tops.

Wow. I already removed ALOT before these last pics. Fan leaves big as my hands.
But yea, there is a lot of big foliage at the tops that seems like it would be better to remove, as you say, to give light to lower tops.

But if im going to take all those leaves, it will mean i removed effin 50% of the plant.

You think these babies can handle that without to much stress?

Lemme tell you this has been a hard long journey. Been at it almost a year without harvesting. Started with biobizz, got fungus gnats. Battled them for 4 months. Tried again, fresh start, didnt work. Did that twice without sucess. Havent gotten to a conclusion to why it didnt. Dont want to think about it.

Changed to PLAGRON COCO NUTES. A+B, power roots and pure enzyme.

I also changed my environment a bit. Went from 24c to 27c and 70% to 60%. Thinkin i invited the gnats with biobizz organic nutes and a very high rh.

Going great now with plagron.

Feeling i deserve this run to be a sucess

I wondered the same thing but you would be amazed what these little ladies can take. I did this to my plants and this is what the looked like a few days later. The trim was Nov 28, the canopy pic was 4 days later. They didn`t skip a beat.

i did not realize how much you got going on down there under the canopy. Wow , those look like reveg ?

Either way , i was talking about taking all the big fans off....yes that will remove 50%+ of your plant. Wont hurt her a bit....shes in veg , she will fill right back in very soon. So think about taking 50% of your plant away..... i think that would require lowering the dose of food until they fill back out but im guessing most folks doing this do not change anything.

I dont hate it because its hard work , i hate it because its something we were always told not to do in various schools. These days , some people do it the right way and the benefits outweigh the cons.

You are taking the leaves off to get more light to the lowers but that does NOT apply in flower. Right now , you WANT that bottom growth to speed up so your canopy is even but in flower , let the leaves do their job and help feed the flowers.

Reveg??? What do you mean I got alot going on under the canopy? Spooking me here....

But ok you guys most def mean I have to defoliate more?

I will try to stand directly above them and defoliate from the top until i se more bud spots showing.
I will also clean them up a bit from the bottom and up.

Plucked a bit more.

The other has not been defoliated today....a bit the other days...

Might I suggest some LST? If you pull some of those branches apart and tie them it will open the plant up without chopping anything. Than you can decide what needs to go and what doesn't. You just want light penetration and air flow.
