Keep it tight and keep bending them outwards as they stretch. Not sure tape will hold it. Looks like a max of about 12 (4x3) squares for each plant.Wassapp ma dudes!! Just did some scroggin
Use that first picture in 28's post as a reference ..... thats what you want to do to all branches at the top....
Yepp...gonna do some more thinning of the lower growth ..they are so low i can stand over them easyYes , thats what im thinking .....your not getting ANY stretch with them leds so your going to have to lst to get them trained to where you want them. Im thinking taking half the plant away will speed the other half up and fill out your tent quicker.
I have no problem seeing them taller but your lights are not letting it happen....plants are too full. Thin them out and they will grow faster. If you have 50 branches then get rid of the lowest 25 ish.
Bend all the tops over as far as you can without breaking the branch, after that you will have a nice wide plant , now its just a matter of waiting for them to grow upwards... wont take long at all after you thin them out some.
Oh the tape is just to strengthen the corners ...they are safely fastened to the wallsKeep it tight and keep bending them outwards as they stretch. Not sure tape will hold it. Looks like a max of about 12 (4x3) squares for each plant.
Thx mate... ok so the lowest 50% of branches...should I also pluck/strip away/lollypop the lowest 50%Yes , thats what im thinking .....your not getting ANY stretch with them leds so your going to have to lst to get them trained to where you want them. The only thing i see as a waste of space is the two in the corner. You can get a lot more tops out of them by getting them another foot away from the wall. then train them to the wall....Wassapp ma dudes!! Just did some scroggin
how many total do you have to fill the 4x8 space ?Thx mate... ok so the lowest 50% of branches...should I also pluck/strip away/lollypop the lowest 50%
I would have to really see them to say "50%" ....that was just a guess. I dont see an excess of branches so i would say dont remove many....bend all the tops over and then anything not reaching the trellis gets chopped. I would really defol just a bit to get some light down in there.Thx mate... ok so the lowest 50% of branches...should I also pluck/strip away/lollypop the lowest 50%

Yes raising them to 90cm+Yep took some more branches and leaves just now. Trying to learn the plant.
2 weeks yes thats what i when planning to flip as im in 6 now. If ready.
Raising them 2 to 3 feet??? Omg i got them at 60 now. ..so raising another 60 or 90? Thats all the way up....
I dont have a knob to dim the lights but i can remove a rubber plug and dim with a screwdriver. ..
You think i should go up some cm and dim to like 75%?
Or is that to late ...maby they are used to 100%now....or summin
Thanks for the reply mate! Yep they are filling up great. Ok so i tried the dimmer screw but didnt find it to have a steady dim. If i screw 1 driver down with 1 quarter round on and the same to another they dont dim the same. Raised them to 95 ishYes raising them to 90cm+
Or just lowering the intensity to about 2/3 or 67%
You are flooding them with blue light....its causing them to stay short. Your plants are handling the light very well but there is never going to be a stretch until you flower them.
You can leave it all the same and they are loving life but its taking too long like that. You already got them cleaned up a lot and thats going to speed things way up but for a better strectch , you will need to lower the intensity of the lights. If it were me , i would lower it to 50% and raise it up slowly throughout the cycle.
Are 4 of them girls covering a 4x4 yet ? lookin pretty close.
Yo! I was thinking maby in stupid not mentioning that i got 24 hours of light on :/Yes raising them to 90cm+

This is debatable but i dont think you need the sleep... but it sure would of made them stretch more. Maybe next time. It will not hurt to run 18/6 for the last couple weeks before the flip. They will strectch more too.Yo! I was thinking maby in stupid not mentioning that i got 24 hours of light on :/
i did that just becauce its easier to control and the leds dont cost that much to run and wouldnt give me heat problems now in winter time.
I was planning on giving them a dark cycle of 4-6 hours from week 4 or so but i totally forgot....
Maybe this also is contributing to keeping them so low?
So now I got the light at 100% at 95cm.
Should I start giving them some darkness now the last 2 weeks or so before flip?
Peace!! One love!!
Thanks mate. I did som small tuning on the dimmer screw. And switched to 18/6. Lights at 100cm. Hoping to gain some height. This is debatable but i dont think you need the sleep... but it sure would of made them stretch more. Maybe next time. nothing wrong with 24/7. thats what i do and thats why i do it....its easier. I do use 18/6 right before the flip for no good reason. I do it for about a week or less before the flip. My only reason for doing it is to veg them for another week as i dont have enough space in veg. If i didnt want the strectch , i would not do 18/6 , i would just 24/7 them until the flip.
In veg you can almost do anything you want to them plants and it wont hurt them.
There should be 2 adjustments per driver. I/O is the one you want. do not change the VO. Thats the voltage. Them dimmers have to go by eye or a kilowatt meter. if you dont have a meter then just use your eyes. Since your not comfortable doing that then you did good. Just keep it raised for now...Thanks for the reply mate! Yep they are filling up great. Ok so i tried the dimmer screw but didnt find it to have a steady dim. You will gain height quick now! Thanks mate. I did som small tuning on the dimmer screw. And switched to 18/6. Lights at 100cm. Hoping to gain some height.
Yo! Ok...thanks mate! Gonna mix tmorrow gonna be a tiny bit cheaper. Yea hope i gain height real quick so i dont start second guessing these changes...You will gain height quick now!
The only issue i see with dimming the lights so much is that they may eat a tiny bit less while stretching with dimmer lights.... adjust accordingly. I would give them about the same you are now and just watch close....if i see close to a "burn" then i will back the food to about 75% of what you are using right now. Dont get scared, thats where most go wrong.... if you see a small burn, do not start flushing or anything drastic , just lower the food by down to 75% ish.
