My advice was not bad and it was not "do this and do it exactly like this".
I gave the a guy growing his first plant some info that is useful and short not a 3 page essay that he wont understand yet although i will say i could of worded it much better.
First. i should have said you have at least 2 weeks left. (that does not mean 14 days take it down it means thats when you start looking at harvest day)
second. i should have said stop feeding it (food). and then continue to just water then at the last few days after the 2weeks let it dry and start signalling accession.
third. 36-48 hours in the dark as the soil drys is common knowledge among growers im sure you all know that.
So if you like i worded it wrong and went off the very small info provided but i don't give people bad info. i did however word it poorly and backwards maybe im guilty of that.

I'll just leave this here. You literally told him to stop feeding them now and let the thing completely dry out. That doesn't signal a plant to die, you are literally beginning to kill it. With a month to go on that plant.
You told him to starve his plants as they finish.
Honestly I don't even believe the photos you posted are ours. I really don't care either. You gave him multiple bad pieces of advice, it wasn't poor wording.

When you let the soil dry up its a form of Low stress training okay and what that does is signal the plants hormones which produce Auxin's that then convert into ethylene and release that trigger your plant into releasing stored sugars in the leaf tips and shoots and making it ripe up quicker and better.

Hybird Strains normally take 8 to 11 weeks. flush your soil with pure water depending on how many litres your bucket is go with 1:1 ratio ph'd water of course.
Only give water now nothing else i bet your soil is locked out. 4 months is way way to long most landrace sativas are done by this time.
