Nice. I've only owned one motorcycle (unless you count a Vespa), which was a 1981 Honda CB750. Solid bike, but I let it go years ago, before I had kids. Now my wife is worried about me getting a bike, because she doesn't want me killing myself before the kids grow up, but I always have my eye on KLR650's.

My wife is a trauma nurse lol,she works on a Covid ward at the minute. I just got out of this boot after 8 months broken foot 3 broken toes had a little spill lol,hard to pick up a 600lb bike with a broken foot,
Had bikes long before I met my wife she don’t like them but she won’t break my balls about it either
She’s been on one bike since we been together and that’s 17 years I’ve broken arms legs shoulders,it’s the name of the game I ride hard,ride it like you stole it ,
When I lived back home in Ireland I rode to work in the snow ,I live in San Francisco last 20 years weather lot better my wife is tiny lol 4’11
before my mate died of cancer last July we slam down to sf-LA and back the next day, I’ve rode thousands of miles in the saddle,I’m into harleys at the minute getting a bit old to be riding liter bikes
I’ve owned gixers,ninjas,Hayabusas,
I fucking love it,you never seen the Golden Gate Bridge till you ride over it on a motorcycle

Actually, not only are they stupid cheap but in most cases they are free!
They are most likely useful in a spur of the moment scenario living in rural area's whereas you have to travel many miles
to get to a music store or buying online and wait for the shipment after breaking and/or loosing the one's you had.
Or as an novelty item. I know, I'm going off the rails lol, just playin'.
I remember as a youngster back in the day in a spur of the moment after breaking my last pick
or two while practicing and not wanting to stop I would fold up a matchbook cover or use a penny etc..
as picks lol.

Nice pics of the boardwalk bro, I used to work there back when I was a teenager, until I got fired for mixing myself a wine cooler lol.
I honestly can't remember if I've ridden across the Golden Gate on a bike or not. I think I did once.. I toke a 3-week bike camping-trip from Santa Cruz to Seattle, and then rode home in 2-days. I was pretty fried at the end of the second 12+ hour day of ridding, so was likely pretty numb coming across that bridge, just wanting to get home. I only dropped my bike once (luckily at low speeds), and didn't break anything except the crankcase.

Not me, I'm more of a techie really. I've managed bands and booked tours in the past. Stage work has been my profession for more than 20 years now. I think I'm around 5000+ gigs worked deep now.

I used to get them at work once in a while. In a steel mill, lol.
They used them to check slitter blades somehow, I rescued a few packs and put them to better use.

I play first violin in a popular classical chamber ensemble, if that counts. It was my second major source of income (second to growing and selling weed) pre-pandemic, but nowadays I mostly do solo gigs as people aren't hiring larger groups like they used to. I hope we get back to normal soon, I really miss playing music with other humans.

I've been a player for 30+ years, I've also done live production, sound & lights, and studio work for 20. Main enjoyment for me is old school classic thrash metal, but not a young guy anymore, so now I play shitty pop rock in a covers band to scratch that itch.
I bought a learner violin a decade ago... my fingers are too big to roll the freting, so I tune it and play it like a guitar but with the bow... lol.

I was tired of taking my nice guitars to the river and beating them up so I decided to buy something I could thrash up a bit, I found a classical at a used music store for $60, man I’ve taken this thing to so many bonfires, let friends borrow it, my kids drag it through the house like fuckin a stuffed animal. But that’s why I bought it, so that I can have a thrasher that I don’t have to really trip on...
