I did a bad thing...I don’t regret this thing I’ve done

You SHOULD be checking your grow gear periodically anyways - i have to dust them off from time to time .... even cleaning inline fans ( god damn dust magnets ). S hooks / chain is an alternative.

I tell everyone maintain your humidifier,de humidifier, fans, ballasts every cycle.
Blowing out equipment with a air compressor and greasing Everything with a little white lithium grease makes everything last so long

Nice lights but you paid what?? Almost $750 for these delivered with builder support. That's 2 320 -350W same spec builds. Add $20 to remote mount ballast yourself or ask builder.

I'm happy with the upgrade here.

Best wishes.015.jpg017.jpg018.jpg

So far customer service has been great.they gave me a discount and free super expensive glasses.
So I start hanging the fixture and luckily I was holding the unit because the mounting gear they gave me crapped out. The metal wasn’t pinched enough and the cable slipped out.
I’ll be able to fix it but that upset me a little. Could have damaged my brand new light or the plants underneath it View attachment 4844896
Both gave out not even just one
I have used ratchet yoyos for the last decade or so for this very reason. Glad U caught it man

They included heavy duty ratcheting yo-yos actually the toughest I’ve seen. But the cables mounted to the ratchet failed lol

Edit-all in this light is 42 pounds I don’t think the average ratchets could handle it

I just connected the yoyo clip directly to the light, ran it over the tent support bar and connected the other yoyo clip to the other side of the light and done away with the thin cables completely.

These tails you can tie a knot in too so it wont pull out of the crimp.

Are these 650 watt lights?

How far above the canopy do you keep your light? I read a foot above but I don't remember where.

Do yo think the Diablo will produce more bud than a similar light, because of the spread leds and closer to the plants?

Nice purchase!

You can keep them 12inchs away and the way that the boards are spread you get really good coverage.
It’s so powerful I switched from a 400w mh and 168watts of sunblaster LEDS to the SD and I had to hang it 27 inches above the plants at 40% power otherwise I was light stressing them.
Now I’m up to 60% power and still 24-26 inches away.

normally I’d switch from 400mh to 600 HPS for flower, instead I bought a 350r to completely fill out my 6.5X4.5 tent

edit-actually not that I’m in flower I’m around 16 inches and 60%power.image.jpg

It’s a learning curve going from HID to these scorpions. On my 2nd run with one now, I run my rspec at 24” and 450ish watts and still have some phenos hating it. Oddly though, I have a Liberty haze pheno that under cmh makes tiny but some of the most frosty and stinky nugs I’ve ever had the pleasure of smoking. Now under LED they are much bigger but the quality isn’t there. My first run had giant colas but it was not up to snuff and all destined for the bubble bags.
