Love the creativity Jenko, when needs must.
Quick question, I have a thermostat keepin my tent at 23celcius and then lights out I have it on a timer so it’s on and off every 15 mins. This is giving me a low of 17celcius during lights out but it’s fluctuating up to 23 n then down again when timer turns off. Any input? Will that piss them off the constant up n down?
If I leave heater off it can drop to 9celcius.
I could set thermostat to 18celcius for lights out but that involves daily setting it and back again for lights on. Any ideas?

This reminds me of my first grow! I'll have to post a pic of my biscuit tin cob when I get a chance! Just keep at it and picking up bits when ya can, DIY is a great money saver. If I can build a cob lamp, anyone can!

Its 50w, I reused an aul heatsink and fan from an Xbox, and ordered some cob chips and a driver. Chip is attached to the heatsink with thermal glue and kapton tape then soldered to wires that are connected to the driver and that's wired to a plug for the mains. The tin just keeps its all together. I never flowered with it, but it looked after my 60x60 mother tent on its own.

That’s class lads love the ingenuity. Hope u earthed your biscuit tin stoner for added protection but love it I will 100% build my own some stage. Also fish bulb that lighting set up is infukinsane!

Yup, I wasn't originally going to but then I Google "why do we earth electrics" and it became apparent pretty quickly lol

Yea those 'comparative watts' do my head in! The amount of times yall see a "1000w led" and it only pulls 100 real watts. I mean I get why they did at the start but now it's just misleading.

I ordered mine from aliexpress, same model I have in veg (Enfun) . 2 X 240w QBs with Samsung lm301b diodes (their latest are lm301h AFAIK) wired to dimmable meanwell drivers for just shy of €280, although I will need to build the frames myself
