have a look on google earth or maps to find a spot then go check it out. i think google earth is a bit behind the times so check out google maps its more up to date. if you able to grow in pots like your back garden then you be able to look after things a bit better and give them regular feeds. as for Autos in pots i would use a 15 litre bucket min for each plant. outdoors and in the ground start them off about mid may. june july the most sunlight hours. photos as soon as the first frosts are over so any time from may on wards. always try to find a south facing spot where the plants have sunlight most of the day.

I'm gonna start my garden run of Hindu Kush Photo from sensi seeds in early April. Might start the ladies in the tent then move them outside for the rest of the year. It's gonna be my first organic grow.
I'll wait for May to start any autos.

I think people were buying norwegian created strains last time I checked due to similar climate, damp, wet, cold. If it's your garden you might be able to protect from excess moisture during bud production

Choosing the right spot isn't an easy task, I'm looking for South facing bank with no shadow, off the beaten track with a water supply near by, even surrounded by countryside its still difficult to tick all the boxes.

Best of luck to you!

hindu kush very prone to bud rot if its humid. or wet when they go into flower so not a great plant to grow outdoors in the uk. they prefer warmer dryer climates. but if you got the seeds and you can induce flowering give it a go. if you growing in your garden and it rains give the stems of the plants. a good shake to get excess water off every time it rains

My garden is straight vertical but the house sits south of the garden. However, in summer the sun is pretty high so the garden does get a pretty high coverage, just have to move the pots once in the day

I grew runtz outdoors. She was 50/50 indica sativa. Only had issues in mid flower cuz it was end of October and weather was terrible.
If I induce flower I should be able to avoid the high humidity

I'm from Birmingham so the weather lasts a bit longer.
Its at night when humidity skyrocket, but it's still a plant and they should expect it. Its survived so many centuries already it should be adaoted

Most strains that can finish in 8-9 weeks will work in the uk. The main issue with the uk is the short growing season. Its abit more difficult with tropical strains that are more used to a warm climate but if you can find ones that finish in the 8-9 weeks range its still possible to do. Problem with those are they wont reach there genetic peak as they need a lot of light but you can still get decent buds. If your doing direct ground planting dig out holes and fill in with good amended soil so they get a good start. If you have a green house ive seen tropical strains with longer flowering finish in the uk.

Ive seen many different strains grown in the outdoors uk. Yeah sometimes it rains but it rains in other places too. Comes down to your experience as a uk gorilla, a good season, picking strains an good hardy genetics that will finish in shorter seasons and a bit of luck.
