Hey all. A buddy of mine grew in seedling cup with happy frog soil doesn’t he need to ph ?
I don't.Hey all. A buddy of mine grew in seedling cup with happy frog soil doesn’t he need to ph ?
But it kinda depends. If he's using bottled nutes, and killing off the microbes in the soil, I would probably ph to 6.5I don't.
WHats your house water ph ? Mine is 7.9. And his is 9I don't.
Iam using Gaia green organic dry ammend. He using bottled OrganicsBut it kinda depends. If he's using bottled nutes, and killing off the microbes in the soil, I would probably ph to 6.5
And in ffof what shud I use to ph down with ?But it kinda depends. If he's using bottled nutes, and killing off the microbes in the soil, I would probably ph to 6.5
My tap is around 8.1, but I use ro water and it ph's to 6.2. His is too high, he does need to bring it down to at least 7.5 imo. Your water would be better to use.WHats your house water ph ? Mine is 7.9. And his is 9
What bottled organics does he use? AFAIK, fox farms tiger bloom is the only true bottled organic.Iam using Gaia green organic dry ammend. He using bottled Organics
With your water, I wouldn't. Your doing a living soil, ph down can kill off microbial life. 7.9 is sufficient. In your buddies soil, just use gh ph down. And in ffof what shud I use to ph down with ?
I heard for Farm trio only partial organic It’s organic based Lol. I Will get names nowWhat bottled organics does he use? AFAIK, fox farms tiger bloom is the only true bottled organic.
Yea my filters are getting bad and I'm getting a lil mineral content slipping in.True RO water should be 7.0. No higher or lower. If you get different it’s your meter or it’s not actually RO.
You mean Big Bloom. What bottled organics does he use? AFAIK, fox farms tiger bloom is the only true bottled organic.
Won’t gh ph down kill microbial life tho ? Shud he use lemon juice or vinegar? For organic soil ?With your water, I wouldn't. Your doing a living soil, ph down can kill off microbial life. 7.9 is sufficient. In your buddies soil, just use gh ph down.
Thank you. That's exactly what I meant, I stand corrected. You mean Big Bloom.
Absolutely if he's growing organic. If his nutes aren't synthetic, than don't use gh ph down.Won’t gh ph down kill microbial life tho ? Shud he use lemon juice or vinegar? For organic soil ?
I don't like using anything acidic in living soil, so I don't ph.Absolutely if he's growing organic. If his nutes aren't synthetic, than don't use gh ph down.

If you try to hold back on anything potentially harmful to microbial life you’re wasting time in general. Recharge? Great product. Molasses? For our microbes and not for the plant. Molasses is for the microbes. Many of us regularly water in Mykos WP. Acid is acid for the most part as far as effects on microbes.Won’t gh ph down kill microbial life tho ? You seem to know a lot anyway I can go into somebody detail. My buddy’s got a seedling going and it look so messed up and he said he ph his water to 6.2 with lemon juice And that’s what happen He is in happy frog cuz seedling But he says he also has low Rh (35% approx ) But Iam also still on first grow and I emailed fox farm directly and asked them if I shud ph my water or is there soil built based on tap water which usually has a high ph . Fox farms answer back telling me yes even tho buffers made based on them knowing most ppl using tap water but that it is still beneficial to ph water before watering ( from the horses mouth) So I ph my water to 6.5 and one of my four plants went yellow and burnt looking ( used ph down so maybe chemical did it ) So so stopped ph ing my water and other plants were still ok. And then my friend ph and his seedling looks like this. So Iam still so confused on if if i shud ph in ffof soil ? Lol.If you try to hold back on anything potentially harmful to microbial life you’re wasting time in general. Recharge? Great product. Molasses? For our microbes and not for the plant. By the way chlorine and water sitting out? Unnecessary. There’s science that’s not bro science showing effects are limited to the first inch or so of medium. But if it makes you happy and sleep better leave it sitting.
