I have a roots organic soil grow going in the plants unbelievable!! Definitely a bunch of happy plants!, I threw a seed of some headband in my front yard last year, I had a Driving without a license charge, I had to do 3 months in jail, I came back home, and I had a 12 and a half foot monster in my front yard!!!

has anyone here ever grown cannabis from start to finish without using nutrients?
i wonder how they come out.
Haha so this thread is a good 20 years old but I came across it searching for just that question. Currently growing no nutes. It is the biggest, healthiest, luscious plant ever. I did use tap water but that’s it. So beautiful and perfect I kept putting it off. We are now almost 5x3 ft and headed to buds.

Same here. These are bag seed grown with tap water and whatever dirt happened to be in the back yard. Horrid humidity (70-80%) and hot. Sometimes shit just works.

Nope I’ve added nothing but tap water. I think the other individual on here that posted the pics was saying g the same thing. I’ve only grown for about 3 years so I’m not a pro but this go round I didn’t add anything and it’s the best growth I’ve ever had.

Lol did you look at their pics? Seems to me they made it all the way through to a big harvest. And I’m two weeks into the flowering stage with a 5 x 3 ft luscious plant.

Yep. Basically topped the grass, loosened up the soil, threw seeds in, then added mulch when they were a few inches high to stop the topsoil getting too hot during summer. The majority of its watering was rain. I did spray it with pest oil a few times though. Some type of petroleum oil. I have no idea what was in that. Basically needed next to no watering as humidity is always high here.

Looking at the finished product, It would have been nice to spray some boost on as a foliar feed though. I just never looked into it enough as a hobby. I just wanted weed, and the plants just worked...

Instead of using a flowering booster you can use molasses in a spray application...most bloom boosters are made from refinery dregs to begin with. I've used a tablespoon in 10L of water, out some in a spray bottle and it does the job well.

Helps to give a nice sweet organic taste and smell profile as well.

How late in flower do you continue to spray molasses?

From personal experience I start around the fifth week, or around when PK is used, and I stop spraying with molasses (blackstrap) a week and before I pull them. It's a handy insecticide as well.

The last photos in the pics earlier,.I didn't use anything mainly because they were already so big, and we were already getting far too much rain. The enthusiasm that year was low.
