Hey all. Starting to deal with a little fade in my Sips. Day 31 of flower. I’ve been top dressing since week one with Gaia and ewc. Approx 4 tbls ea week. 10 gallon sips. Since noticing some yellowing I’ve lifted the lights and gave them a heavy feed of 444. Scratched down through all the ewc to hard soil ,misted the Gaia to give it a good soak. Fear of getting runoff in my res so didn’t spray to much. 200 ml ish.
I notice the leaves that are fading seem to break off easy. I remember reading here what that meant but can’t remember. Does it mean it’s a watering problem of a food problem?

I did have my lights low right on top of them. So I’ve raised them away. I’ve grown before with these 48 w strips quite close and no problems but that was in hydro.
the yellowing is more middle upper so I’m thinking part of it is lights to close. Having the 400watt HPS above also makes it strong. Haven’t seen any tacoing. Temps stay 83 ish night 65-68.
hard to tell in pics with HPS on ,one pick is on the floor of leaves ,yellow one is from higher up greener one from lower down. I’ll shoot some pics tonight when lights are off

Hey mike, mine were doing the same.... heavy feeders. 1/2tsp per gal of fish hydrosolate to water perked em right up.

Yeah just top feed , you dont want it in the sip for sure!!! You can use fish hydrosolate in both veg and flower. I use neptunes harvest.

Had a quick look and all I can find is fish emulsion. Alaska fish fertilizer 5-1-1 or 0-10-10
Hydrolysate doesn’t appear available to me. Amazon .Ca has a gallon for $130 lol.

Yeah a quick search on the Alaska fish fertilizer says it really stinks lol and at 5-1-1 npk is not good.
