Sounds weird to me. I leave my ro water in a blue trash can for weeks sometimes and never noticed any changes in it. I'm stumped.
I like that. I'm surprised I didn't think of that, considering I used a uv sterilizer on a reef tank I used to have.get a aquarium uv sterilizing lamp. you can get on amazon cheap as f. put it in the water and run it for an hour or so a day or every orher day. works fn sweet
had same problem and this totally solved it.
ill take a pic of mine in a min
I was led to believe rubber attracts the biofilm. I'm using rubber airline. It's the only place I notice it. Everything else at least doesn't feel slimey.Sounds weird to me. I leave my ro water in a blue trash can for weeks sometimes and never noticed any changes in it. I'm stumped.

I used to have fresh and saltwater running but it was costly. At least the reef tank was, and it was a PITA! Lolthats where i got the idea.
im a man of many talents
fish keeping is one of those as well
also. get a float valve for your ro. set it up on a 10 or 15gal tote so everytime you take water out it will fill to the float valve and stop
Yea I like that. Nothing more sterilizing than uv! You get those on amazon you said? That's not like that fish tank ones. The one I had was enclosed and the water ran through it.its empty but you get the idea im sureView attachment 4881303

i use uv to clean everything. i have multiple bulbs i run in my tents after a cycle. i also run them once a month in the room to kill off any spores or baddies i could have brought inYep... they have an 11w. I might try that.
