All the plants were really in bad shape before I transplanted to Earth Dust.the only one that wasnt was the Christmas tree. That was planted seed to soil. Before this I've never used dry amendments before. So this was a learning experience for sure. Not talking shit but those plants look horrible. Even in the earlier weeks before flower. I wouldn’t even put those into flower til you fixed the problem. Week 4 of flower looked like week 1. Kinda making earth dust look bad. Here’s my grow in week 3. Using earth dust nutes on the back 3 of my plants. The rest are using nukeheads bloom.
Earth dust comes with microbesOk sure but any amendments you add will not do much without a form of compost to provide microbial activity. An active mix is even more important than npk values. You can brew aact teas or simply add worm castings or backyard compost or bokashi but you need to make the soil active first in order for whatever amendments you add to decompose and eventually become available for absorption by the root system.
What week are they in?My experience with earth dust has not been that impressive. I’m growing six plants in a 4 x 4 tent in fabric pots. 5 gallon. My soil is ocean forest. I’m growing under two electric sky ES 300 LED lights. All of my plants look like they’re suffering from some type of deficiency. Three of them have developed brown spots on the leaves, very similar to the photographs shown earlier on this thread. Two of the plants are light green, suggesting there’s some nitrogen deficiency. I’ll be exploring other organic options for my next grow.
