Help with indoor transitioning to outdoor in WNY

If you can, get one of those heavy duty trash containers on wheels...but get the ones with big wheels or it'll break. It's always nice to be able to move the thing...heavy winds, hail, rain...can make your ladies sick. I used a yard cart on wheels, rectangular box full of ProMix Mycorrhizae...marijuana plants thrive in that ProMix Mycorrhizae...they love it. I mixed in some Bat Guano powder, a bit of muriate of potash (0-0-60), all set.
I grabbed a busted 32 gal rubbermaid off the side of the road of someone's trash pickup, it's missing a wheel and has a hole in the bottom, but bright side, built-in drainage

I've been using organic fertilizer, i.e. compost. Banana peel, orange peel, tea leaves. Probably gonna keep tossing shit in when it's outside too. I think it's contributed to it being a robust lil gal, fat stem and bigger than a lot of similar grows i've seen people do under similar circumstances. Haven't pH tested but i haven't been using tap water. Organic potting soil and either rain water or well water

Ya it's less so that rn than it is the frost factor, plus I'm pretty sure the forecast says we might get a couple 30-40 degree days yet. That's WNY for ya. Believe me if i could just put it out right now i would but instead i'm left with a pain in the ass of what to do with it until then. That said it's an indica which are more temperature resilient (i hear) but not THAT resilient....
That plant is bigger and tougher than you think
If you take it outside and only have a couple nights of low temperatures you'll be fine above freezing at night if you just put a few sheets of newspaper over it
It isn't a baby like most and come fall older plants can even take several hard frost

Hey, do you know how to fix that? You go to WalMart or a hardware store, get a length of threaded rod and some nuts and washers to fit, a length of copper pipe to stick the threaded rod into, about 6 bucks...get two lawn mower wheels...fixed. I just did it when the flimsy wheel set up caff't out. I can fill it full of soil mixture and a plant and move it around no probs now.

I'm a noob and this is my second grow attempt. As of today she's a week over a month from seed. Just shot out its first white pistil so I know for fact it's a girl. It's been on 18/6 since the 28th of march and I'm planning on planting it outside may 21st - june 1st as the days are long enough by then (I live in western new york). Currently vegging under the Mars Hydro TS 600 plus about 6 or 7 CFL and LED lights and it's 17" tall. Once it veg a bit more i'm gonna cut a couple clones.

How does she look to you? Someone over on grasscity told me it looks rootbound but I might have just overwatered a bit, i'm now using the 10% rule (10 gal of soil, 1 gal of water) which for 4 gal of soil in a 5 gal bucket = 1500 mL. And any other advice appreciated. Thanx!

Every good story starts with the digging of a hole. Continue as you may. Less is more is the golden rule. 15 40 maximum sunlight outdoors june 20 ish may 24 is planting time, may 5 on west coast, better weather unless you have a greenhouse. Growers dread late frost.

Id harden her off first, no? Nice shady spot sunny day back in at night, can be a lot of work if you have 50 or so plants to move. But one or two np. They will burn put straight into sunlight. Expierence talking. Ive got wild plants that have been sprouted a month outside already

Harden off meaning what, beef it up and slowly acclimate it to sunlight? Forgive my ignorance.

And it'll have to come back in and still get some light until midnight which is when the lights have been shutting off, so i'll have to make a setup for that too.

But one step at a time, i just gotta get it out of the 5 gal bucket right now or she'll be a goner

ph testing is most important. Of all things, it controls nutrient uptake. Bad ph like my 9.0 will mess with them, vinegar is good ph down, baking soda ph up. I prefer citric acid for ph down, personal choice. Use vinegar too. 6.4 with a treat of 5.4 every week or so. Controls rise in ph.

Yes she will wither and die if not properly shaded. No direct sunlight for a few days at least. Sorry to say. Id buy a roll of weed cloth and make shade.

Dig a big hole, make shade over plant, maybe even bring light out first couple weeks. Keep her up later. Ten or 11 o clock

Or put it in the bin and bring it in. Not legal to grow where i am yet. Closest spot hidden from public view is way too far to run extension cords. But I mean, if someone snitched on me i'd be on their ass because it's like the dumbest nosiest thing someone could do. Not that it would matter if i got busted anyways lol. NYS just likes making money for the cops, I hope people realize that's basically the only reason you get fined for shit like this

What its legal? Been in closet far too long. I grow l grow because to work i dont go, l grow l grow. Ive been growing since 80s quite uncessfully due to thievery, was hoping legalization would change that, nope! Worse now then ever.

lve grown some beauties, only to have them stolen during flush. No sativa for me anymore. My girls are trees in fall. Dont know how they do it, its a lot of weed. They must be trimming for months.

Chicken wire and sleeping bag, live close to river.
FWIW i grow too because i'm 27 and trying to evade more bullshit min wage jobs than i gotta endure. Messed up life, personal problems, dropped outta college, may or may not go back. 1 lb harvest could pay my rent but i also wanted to clone it. Not that they will catch up or be anywhere near the same size even if they successfully root

Stealing weed esp homegrown is one of the most piece of dog shit low blows anyone could do. Knew someone who had a pound stolen off him, he figured out who it was and destroyed their Escalade. Broken windows, slashed tires, rice in tank. Well deserved imo
