Hey Chefsupe,
If you're not having issues with PH you have a couple of options. The issue with organics is once you spot a deficiency it's too late to correct it with organic amendments. I would get some organic bottle nutes or brew up a worm/compost tea for the ladies.
Also, if you have a very strong and healthy root zone it creates its own micro-climate around the roots and the PH of the water will not be the PH of your medium. This is why people say you get a "buffer" when growing with organics. Even if you give the plant 4.0 Ph water the microbes and fungi in the rhizosphere will regulate everything so you wouldn't notice much of a difference until several weeks of low PH watering - if you've been giving them low/high PH water for extended periods of time this could be your issue.
The organic buffer is usually helpful but could be a bit of a nuisance If your soil is bacterially dominated. Bacterial-dominated soils typically have a higher root zone PH and convert nitrogen to nitrates (great for vegetables but not cannabis) which can slow nitrogen absorption.
If you haven't added any before, mycorrhizae of some sort or a fungally dominated compost are really nice to add. Fungally dominated soils tend to rely on ammonia for nitrogen absorption (great for cannabis).
But remember to take everything you hear with a grain of salt! Only you can really know what your plants need - with a little guidance of course
.
Happy Growing man
