If your kid is born with a serious medical condition like a heart defect or neurological damage, it's your "fault"? Why does everything have to be somebody's "fault"? Somethings just are.

This thread is a real magnet for assholes and people with repressed issues. Character flaws are seldom isolated, racism, bigotry, homophobia and xenophobia are often clustered together.

Low empathy states caused by being mentally out of touch with their bodies, if this happens, one is driven by feelings of aversion and attraction and not much else. If they exercise and train, they can sense their feelings, empathy increases and their conscience begins to grow, provided they aren't brain damaged.

I like pizza. Home made. The commercial kind usually disappoints because commercial pizza dough is a tasteless simulacrum of the staff of life.

My dad was a diesel truck mechanic. He said most auto mechanics who work for somebody else aren't very good. The good ones move on and set up their own shop. I wouldn't know, because I don't work on cars. I'm simply not interested in it. I follow my dad's advice, I found a good shop where a good mechanic works and the same mechanic to works on my car each time I bring it in. Odds are, you are a crap wrencher.

It's the same in all affluent countries where women are empowered and in control of their fertility, Japan is rapidly aging and China is having trouble kick starting population growth after ending the one child policy. In poor countries children are still old age security, like they used to be in the affluent countries and before women gained control of their fertility. The pill was probably one of the most important technologies of the 20th century and impacted the most people.

The reason for population decrease in affluent countries is women's empowerment and that was greatly increased with contraception. If you think your kids will survive until adulthood, have social security and the means of contraception, then you will have fewer of them. In Muslim countries where women have little power there is not much of a decrease in population growth.
