Ya I ended up with 3 hermies shortly after my first trim in flower. I pulled them. Took the fan leaves and the bud sites off about 1/3 of the way up. Also found one male in my batch of feminized seeds. Sucked because it was do si dos X grape pie and only had 4 of them. Also one of them hermied so Im down to 2. One of the strains I cut clones from turned to a hermie. Im wondering if the clones will have a tendency to hermie?
I probably have about 4 more inches they can grow then I can bend them kver some without breaking I believe. Hoping they're done growing height wise tho and start putting all their energy into flowering.
I trimmed all the shoots and fans 1/3 of the way up the plant at the time. I wasnt expecting them to triple in height after putting them in the flower room. Was planning to trim the fans once more but not anymore shoots. You believe it would be beneficial to cut shoots with flowers already at day 25 of flower? The lowest shoot I would say begins halfway up the plant. Most of the lower shoots also come up quite a ways towards the canpoy. The girls are sleeping now but maybe Ill snap a few pics closer up tmrw.
Ya at the time the lower shoots were a lot closer to the canpoy. They exploded in height after moving to the flower room. Im going to remove my pully hooked to the light and that will give me another 4-5 inches and slightly bend them if need be. I refuse to chop my head nugs!!! You think if I put posts at each corner and run rope to hold all the branches in they will support each other on the inside? Was originally planning a scrog but it has gotten a lil out of control for that.
Ya I refuse to chop my head nugz!!! I have 4-5 inches I can move my led up and about 1.5 ft. I can move the 600 watt hps up. If need be after that I will slightly bend them in
