Do people usually transplant to bigger pots before they flip regular plants ? I know the plant needs it but I don't want to waste time and media on males. So should I transplant these from 1 gallon to 3 gallon now before 12/12 or is it cool to wait after sex is clear ? They are 5-6 weeks old snowhigh Durbin poison in one gallon pots of coco.

Just brown bag a branch for a week or two

It all depends on YOUR style. I would recommend uppotting yours to prevent root binding either way. You're in coco so even if you do uppot a male, you can just rinse the media out from his root ball into a sieve and recover ~90%. Get us some close up shots of their tops and internodes they my be showing already.

Ok, so, I've seen it work, never done it myself, but do you know How it works? The flowering trigger is dark period but all this is doing is shading it. Only been at this a couple years so still learning a lot. I'm just not making the connection.
