My Layered mix is throwing shrooms …. Maybe I should try growing some spores sometime.
All are preflower and doing well … kelp in water . Cali heat is starting and they are daily drinkers . Ewc / ffof recharge top dress . I have seabird guano on standby for phosphorus bump if needed … my original layered
mix tapped out a bit too early last time.
Really trying to avoid bottles . Quantums are purring along and no issues ….
LST needing some additional adjustments but will do later today.

I think bk78 just bought one. He was going to do a comparison with another meter. Not sure if he did so or not.@pop22 How's that photobio par meter working? Do you have anything/experience to compare it to something else (another par meter, or a lux meter you used with a conversion factor)?
My pulse pro was 40ppfd from the mq500 when I tested it against it. And the photobio is 39ppfd from my pulse pro.@pop22 How's that photobio par meter working? Do you have anything/experience to compare it to something else (another par meter, or a lux meter you used with a conversion factor)?
Thanks.I think bk78 just bought one. He was going to do a comparison with another meter. Not sure if he did so or not.
Thanks. Found your other thread regarding the par meter(s).My pulse pro was 40ppfd from the mq500 when I tested it against it. And the photobio is 39ppfd from my pulse pro.
So with my testing it’s bang on with the mq500

From my readings the photobio is bang on with the mq500. I mean 20-40 ppfd is splitting hairs anyways imo.Thanks.
Thanks. Found your other thread regarding the par meter(s).
So is the photobio 39ppfd off from the pulse pro back in the correct direction of the apogee? Ie: it's not just 79ppfd off from the apogee.
Nutrientshootouts compared the pulse pro to an apogee sensor on youtube, btw.

The 40 ppfd error, is it consistently low or high? If it's consistent then it's usually down to the spectral response curves of the par meters. My pulse pro was 40ppfd from the mq500 when I tested it against it. And the photobio is 39ppfd from my pulse pro.
So with my testing it’s bang on with the mq500
