Makes total sense to me. Too bad some people have nothing better to do than chastise a new grower in the new grower section for asking a question about something he/she/it had to learn itself at one point. Must be nice to know it all.
Too much P can cause a lot of problems so like I said I wouldn't be going crazy with it in the desire to get huge buds. I used to push them hard then back off at the first sign of nute burn but ran into issues like toxic salts buildup, (which I see a lot of posts about and most replies say throw more crap at them which is the worst thing to do), and nasty tasting buds. Now I feed less and only increase when I see things like yellowing fan leaves which is the most obvious sign of low nutes. Low N shows before most others but with continued lack other deficiencies will rear their ugly heads.
The plants want more P during the stretch so you probably helped a bit if anything. Here's a little pic of what goes on with P.

And the full chart I chopped that pic out of. Lots of clues around each one so a little detective work goes into diagnosing problems with any degree of accuracy. Should save it for future reference.

PS: Seems like all the jerks from the politics forum decided to stagger in and fling their feces at the newbie. Been pretty slow over there since the Trumpster hit the dumpster.
Don't forget there's an Ignore function just for such eventualities.
