There's more to Joe being a pain in the ass than meets the eye, something is jerking his chain and it ain't the traditions of the senate or anything else he's spouting off about. Being a bottle neck for change is worth a lot of money to a lot of very rich people. This poll was done by a group that supports HR-1, but I don't think it was that biased, or far off the mark and if it's even close to being accurate, Joe has some explaining to do, to his voters, over 3/4 of republicans support it FFS!

Biden's people need to look into this and if it's accurate, then they can use it to really pour fire, not just heat on Manchin! Jesus Christ, how far out of whack can you be with your voters and entire fucking state! He's got his seat for the next 6 years, but if the democrats can win a few more senate seats in 2022, they are gonna screw Joe and his state bigly.

Part of the 100% of America that the Democrats represent in government include the Wealthy Melanin-lite Heterosexual Male. So yeah Manchin is not much different than a Republican, and came into power right around the time of the attack on our nation started, so he could very well be a right wing plant.

But we'll see. I am not sold on how those charts were titled. They could have asked leading questions that damn near anyone would agree with, but not mention that it was a Biden agenda item kind of thing. It is hard to just know enough to be too concerned about Manchin at this point (IMO) when we know for a fact that the Republicans have all sold out hard and that no agenda items are likely to get through for Biden.

Biden got his big lift through and stopped the death cult tactics that Trump and the Republicans were pulling on the America economy, and got us enough vaccines to get every American safe that wants it.

I'm curious to know why he opposes something that only 15% of voters in his state oppose and over 3/4 of republicans support! 81% of the people who sent him to the senate support HR-1 and 79% of the entire state support it, he has some explaining to do.

I'm 60, and folks were still talking about carpetbagging Republicans when I was a kid. Memories last a long time.

My county here in NW Florida is 60/40 Democrat as far as registered voters. But most of them vote red on state and national races. Mostly it's just habit from back in the day (pre 1964) before the parties switched. You had to be a Democrat for your vote to have an impact in the local elections. (the real race would be in the Dem primary) Until the last election cycle there had never been anyone from the GOP to hold office. But more young folks are registering Republican now.

I'd prefer to win people over with predictability and stability. Saving our democracy from the racist agenda of Trump and this current batch of Republicans is too important IMO than over reaching because they are taking away their citizens ability to have their voices heeded in the states that they are currently in power of.

But I am just one person's perspective. And don't claim to also not feel like we should be dragging away all of these corrupted politicians (because they are sucking dictator money in and forwarding their agenda's here in America) in cuffs, but I also think Netanyahu is the first domino, and that is still teetering atm.

During the debates, Trump was asked why he didn't follow the precedent that Repbulicans set in 2016. They delayed the seating of Merrick Garland because voters should decide at the polls and let the incoming administration choose. For the good of the country and all that. Of course, in 2020, they pushed through a SCOTUS judge who is very right wing. When asked why, Trump said, "because we won"
