Bad experience with Exotic Genetix

@Porky1982 I would agree on that, i've spent the last two weeks searching for possibly causes for that... Started 3 different topics on different forums and we couldn't figure it out... Everything is controlled
They look good to me, there's some phenos that look dank to be honest, it's growing great it's just the terp thing

One of my "go to" strains in my seed stock is Guicey G from Exotic...gasey lemon cleaner smell...but to be fair its the only strain I've grown from them...did get a couple different phenos

@MY OWN DANK That looks dope man, i'm glad that you had a great experience with Exotic, i didn't rounded yet the possibilitie of "something" getting in the way but at the same time i can't figure it out so my guess is genetics but who knows

I just recently harvested some Jabba's Stash from Bodhi and I commented on the Bodhi thread how it had no smell in flower. I could squeeze the buds and still get no smell on my hands. Dried it up, jarred it and the first few days it was a nasty green smell, like brocolli instead of hay. I was pissed off and tossed the clone. Now after a week and a half in the jar its unmistakable bubba kush espresso and Hershey chocolate and I'm kind of regretting throwing out the clone.
Maybe they're all crap like you said but there's always a chance it'll come out in the cure.

I have a yard full of exotic genetics, chocolate chimp,monkey berries, gummy buns they reek up the whole area. Idk but imo if igot everything i wanted but smell i wouldn't personally make a bad experience thread about the genetics

I've grown a good few cookie strains here & there that had little smell but vaped good after month cure. To get 10 plants like that though is a different story.

My only 2 cents is like others said maybe ur temps are too low, also what is the difference in temp between lights on and lights off? I would think at least 80° lights on and 70° off would be good. From my understanding the difference is VERY important, ya need atleast a 5° difference but no bigger than 15 or shock can occur. I have 3 Grease Monkey s1's that just went into flower, hopefully they come out nice. Best of luck man

Its entirely possible to have two different crosses with very mild terps. This is why pics can be so deceiving. I grew out a couple packs from In House a while ago and they were beautiful plants but they smelled and tasted like cardboard. And I dont think its your temps. If anything the lower temps would help preserve the terps.
But, I wouldnt give up on Exotic. Mike puts out some great crosses.
Also, they could develop with with the cure. Got my fingers crossed for ya.

In my experience you lose a lot of terps if you let your soil run too dry

This is the nature of popping seeds everybody. Sometimes you get phenos with no smell, and sometimes you get good smelling phenos. It's not that all of exotic genetix is bad or good. No breeder is all bad or good. This whole thread is an exemplification of that, with everyone sharing their different experiences. Well, duh, you all popped different seeds lol. My complaint with exotic so far is a high herm tendency. Higher herm chance than any other breeder I've tried, and more intense herms than any other breeder.

Bud looks gorgeous reading to it's final week of flush... But that's it no smell great for pics

With led lighting plants like it warmer so like 80-85 but that won't effect smells. Also I'm using general hydroponics micro and bloom, no need for grow formula, and I'm getting aromas on all my plants flowering.
Honestly if your plants look like they do then you should be getting aromas from them so no idea why you're not. 10 plants means 10 phenos and you should be getting some kind of smell so I have no clue whats up.
My only suggestion would be try cleansing you smell palette before sniffing plants. It may help but maybe you just got extremely unlucky this go round. Hopefully the taste better than they smell!

I grew his Cookie n cream and it as similar to what how you describe. Beautiful, colorful buds full of frost but minimal smell. The smoke was decent though.
