Hello there, I'm Pig.

I'm a baby grower - literally starting out for the first time and was suggested this site by a really great hydro shop owner! - anyway wanted to say high, below is my first girl, she's an Amnesia Haze, Mum plant was good and healthy, this is her first clone.

Looking forward to learning lots - I've been researching and learning already and realize I'm only just beginning lol.

Thanks and look forward to growing with you all :) 20210801_145510[1].jpg

This was after a good defoliate and clone harvest - I turned her today

This should alleviate some of your anxieties about flushing and shows how useless it is.

Just playing devil's advocate here but one could also conclude from that article that feeding nutrients in the last 14 days is also pretty useless. One test from a nutrient manufacturer on one strain is hardly conclusive but it was an interesting read so ty for sharing that. Hopefully more tests like this are done in the future.

The thing about hydroponics, is that it's nothing like nature.

In nature, plants are still able to take nutes from the ground and complete its life cycle as normal.

Human beings tend to think they can out smart nature in most cases.

Yet when we grow cannabis plants for flower, we are 'outsmarting' nature. Not to mention that if your point was anything but moot, we'd end up concluding that the only way to grow is naturally.

You can conclude whatever you want, that’s your prerogative playing devils advocate. Which is just another fancy term for Troll and let's face it, the only reason you deem the point moot is because I refuse to take the bait.

Now you have a nice day, doing whatever it is you do.

I know I'm new, but I personally think Major has a point in part about "outsmarting nature" - I don't think we are as in effect we are providing, water, nutrient, and light... outsmarting?.. no I don't believe so (I'm not taking sides!!) I just feel we are... "augmenting" or "loop-holing" nature. Imagine the food production that could be made for 3rd world countries in climatic hostile environments?. Then we have GM stuff, whilst we've cross-bred in the past GM is outsmarting. Sorry if I've spoken out of place.

Do plants get flushed in nature?

No?

case closed..

NEXT!

To do so indoors is trying to Outsmart the plant and do something that the plant doesn’t do in nature, hence trying to outsmart the plant..

I can’t help it if the human is dumber than the plant, that’s not my fault.

The irony here is that you're the one linking an article which concludes that "no differences were detected between flush treatments for yield, potency, or terpenes" while simultaneously you advocate for binary thinking on an organic subject and you're calling me a troll?

I bow to your undisputed logic, but profess in nature they aren't receiving the nutrients, light, and other conditions afforded for indoor or controlled gardening. Apologies for any problems caused :(

“but profess in nature they aren't receiving the nutrients, light, and other conditions afforded for indoor or controlled gardening.”

and where do you think all the genetics came from to give us these plants?

LOL!!

yes humans have been growing for 1000 of years indoors under lights…. LOL!

Fuck I hate stupid people…. Yes weed has never grown in nature, it’s all been grown by man indoors…. Just ask the Afghan farmer who grows some of the most potent weed in the world…. Outdoors.
