so i've got 2 pretty big plants outdoors in 15 gallon pots and i need to make them flower asap, seen how i'm already pretty late and weather could get nasty here soon. i got a shed nearby but moving them in and out all the time would get pretty annoying after a couple of weeks. would covering them in a bag of some sorts work or no? or what other easy way would there be? any help is appreciated
(bonus question, around what weight will my yield be, estimated)

Where do u live? Plants in outside are starting to flower now. Waste of time to do a light-dep now.
im in the Netherlands, first time growing photo's but from i understand they need 12 hours of darkness, and that would be at the end of september here, which would be way to late cause of weather

wym, like a light source close to them or?..
Yeah, any bright light will interrupt the darkness and prevent flowering. They don’t really need 12hours darkness, just the increasing dark period each night. Ten to eleven hours dark will flip them.

Have you considered making a lean to with a tarp?
This or move to shed, the quick change to 12 hrs dark will hurry it up.I started mine July 1st ish.Smaller plant so a little easier.
I don’t know why people don’t do this more. A2CAC480-65E5-4DAE-BB7A-2B49F58CDBF3.jpegJuly 15 ish. Speeds things up and have a chance of finishing by end of September.

The only way to do it is light depravation.. Move them in at night move them out in the morning..
Pick a time that works for your schedule...
I also live where days are long and winter comes fast.

It is a well kept secret in America
Like all conspiracies we don't allow other nations to know

Keeping other in suspense is all that matters, well that and the fact if there was a magic pill to rapidly induce flower ...we would :weed:

!2 hours only applies to indoor cycles but hey if faster results are an absolute try Auto's :bigjoint:

thanks, i was wondering if it had to be exactly 12 or not, but even then rt now i got like 8.5 hours of darkness so am worried if i let em go on their own they'll finish way too late
