They seemed to have the same trouble as you. What PH range are you in?
I’ve been growing with autopots for 6 years. I’ve never checked the ph in the tray only the rez. Never had need. Are you having problems?Hey! Does autopots count? Because my ph in trays are much higher then in my reservoir?
Hydroponics
If the pH is outside the 5.5-6.5 pH range, you know you’ll need to correct the pH.
- Test the pH of the reservoir by taking a small sample of water and use it to test the pH.
I had 6.7 in my tray, but I took the water out and filled up again. Maybe it had high ec before I filled it up and it mixed with the higher ec. I mean if they don’t drink enough and the water is there for more then a day the ph raises so I wonder if the root zone get the wrong ec and can’t pick the nutes upI’ve been growing with autopots for 6 years. I just moved my water out of tap is 8 ppm. I would set my ph 5.8 and it wouldn’t stay. I started adding cal mag and it stabilized my phI had 6.7 in my tray, but I took the water out and filled up again. Maybe it had high ec before I filled it up and it mixed with the higher ec. 8 PPM from the tap; where did you move to, osmosis city?I just moved my water out of tap is 8 ppm. I would set my ph 5.8 and it wouldn’t stay. I started adding cal mag and it stabilized my ph
Lol wtf. 8ppm tap? No way. 8ppm is lower than what my osmosis filter can do. I get about 12 ppm after filtration.I just moved my water out of tap is 8 ppm. I would set my ph 5.8 and it wouldn’t stay. I started adding cal mag and it stabilized my ph
Real nice number isn't it.Lol wtf. 8ppm tap? No way. 8ppm is lower than what my osmosis filter can do. I get about 12 ppm after filtration.
You absolutely sure you are reading that correct? What city if I ask cause man you got it going on over there.
But seriously...where the heck do they filter tap water down to 8ppm for general consumption? Cause that is the shit!Real nice number isn't it.
Gotta be the source water. Cervantes says in his grow bible that the best he ever saw was from BC too. Rock formations in the aquifers I'd guess but not an expert on that. But I'd like to have it.But seriously...where the heck do they filter tap water down to 8ppm for general consumption? Cause that is the shit!
Absolutely positive. Everyone around me has a special tank installed. They pour 100 pounds of Calcite in a tank every year. Because of the low ph it will eat anything copper pipe up. Im adding one in the next month That’s why I have to add the Calmag to rezLol wtf. 8ppm tap? No way. 8ppm is lower than what my osmosis filter can do. I get about 12 ppm after filtration.

I live in gods country. Lol my well shoots out of the ground. We call the flo well I think the correct name is a flowering well. I might try that cyco ph. Thanks.8 PPM from the tap; where did you move to, osmosis city?
I'll bet your PH wouldn't stay. Too fuckin pure, no carbonates in it to buffer the PH. I've got 55 PPM at my tap and the best I ever saw on a meter was from a guy out in B.C. who had 11, but 8 is a new high in low PPM. Congratulations!
Cyco PH adjusters are 7 times stronger than the Gen Hyfro ones in my grow and they'll work with low PPM water. Used them a few years now and really like them.
It comes out of the ground that way around hereBut seriously...where the heck do they filter tap water down to 8ppm for general consumption? Cause that is the shit!
So what's the PH of your magic water? Maybe the mystical low PPM water comes with a nasty PH secret. My tapwater may be 55 PPM but it's a copper pipe friendly 7.5 PH.Absolutely positive. 5.2 to 5.8 when I check itSo what's the PH of your magic water? Maybe the mystical low PPM water comes with a nasty PH secret. My tapwater may be 55 PPM but it's a copper pipe friendly 7.5 PH.
Well that is a little acidic now isn't it. Great water for growing pot though.5.2 to 5.8 when I check it
