Did you notice any severe differences in yield after switching from growing autos to growing photoperiods

I've never had much luck with autos. I much prefer running clones indoors and outdoor autos haven't yelleded 1/2 as much as a seed photo.

Silly question sort of. This all depends on strain, grower exp and other variables. With the same amount of veg time the yeilds will be similar. Longer veg with a photo can end up yeilding more.

In theory an auto should always yield less than a photo. You can veg a photo as long as you want.

I do find that an auto responds a lot to LST. I also see that people growing autos in dirt get a small plant while me growing in hydro can get a much larger plant.

My friends organic soil autos are much smaller but the quality is very good.

Autos veg around 30 days or so right? That’s all I veg my cuts for and it’s not even a comparable difference. From the pics I’ve seen people post anyways.

Most people don't have your skill or experience either. That plays a huge part in trying to make a comparison.

Ya I mean that's kinda average veg time for autos. Sometimes less sometimes more. There's alot of variables to factor in as you're well aware.

I like an even shorter veg 10-14 days. 12-16 plants per 25sqft. About 3 weeks for 9 plants

I’ll never understand the auto craze except for hobbyists. Why waste$ time vegging for months. Just clone and flower. Best yields snd ease. And I can not even try snd get 2lbs per light like this. Dialed in sky’s the limit I haven’t hit 3 yet but I’m working on it.

that first picture why would somebody even waste 3 months of their life growin an ounce when you can find a side job like mowing lawns and buy an ounce lol
Grew its self on water as I was in the hospital. Too funny. Minimum inputs. Why you auto folks grow them I thought. And close 47 grams dried. LMAO.

And why would I waste a seed in storage and all the fixins' just laying around? Autos are a novelty. Getting better. But still an attempt to make you purchase more seeds of terminal nature. Stealing a page out of Monsanto's play book. Grow photos. Infinitely reproducing. Autos are one and done without chemical augmentation.

Nice try. Peace.

That's an extremely poor example of an autoflower.
I agree. And watered at best. A study in simplicity so to speak. A highly enlightening year at least. Sadly I must pull the trump card. Had to put my kid on water detail after a few weeks of growth to nurture this and my almost dead self.

Really happy to share my honest experiences over the years. My monsters and failures. All is needed to get better. LOL. 001.jpg001.jpg012.jpg

Hope all is better now. Just wanted to point it out so people wouldn't think that's what autoflowers are supposed to look like.

My autoflowers have yielded quite well but lack in the quality department. Not to say they are awful but they don't match up to photoperiods.

All good when correct. Peace there. I do photos. Just a few gifted beans. Always accept and use a gift. My soil and methods are growing some big ones out there. Mine was what a lucky first timer should hope for.

I like the comments a few people had on taste and high here from it. But photos RULE for me. And autos are for when I can't make the rounds anymore.
