Got a link. I’m wary of anything that isn’t an apogee sensor.

just looked at their site. I’ll hard pass and go an apogee

Look at the spectral chart. 0DD507E2-99E7-440D-8EDF-D71AE0C13486.png

too much is lost between 400-450nm and nothing below 400nm or above 700nm.

found one, let see how long it takes to get here. This seems like an easier way to seperate trichs.
I've got one of those. You cant get much trim in them. If you have 3 garbage bags full to process it will take many many many many runs to get through it. It is sitting on a shelf.

Hi chums. Does anyone know where to get BTI for gnats at a reasonable price in Oz?
I've been able to pick it up from time to time on eBay, but it looks like my vendors have gone AWOL.
I suspect they were guys who bought a big load from overseas, and sold off what they couldn't use in smaller bags (which I'm considering myself, if I can't find anything soon).
I've seen the Mosquito Bits from Summit, but they are "Corn cob granules coated in Bti", which sounds like an expensive way to buy not much BTI

I don't know how legal it is for that company to resell the product in smaller packages afaik vectobac comes in 5l bottles but there ya go

I followed this video and a couple others I couldn't locate. Hardest part is punching ya penetration through if you've got brick veneer. There's not much to it, I used a cordless vac pump I borrowed off a fridgie mate.

Cheers yeah I watched that too. Seems fairly straight forward as long as have the tools and be methodical.

I install aircons all day, if it's brand new most acs have the gas in them all you gotta do is do a good flare on your pair coil and if you trust your flaring you dont really need Gauges vac her down and release the refrigerant simple as that

Thanks for the link FR. I've found the source of this mixture and, you're right, that shop appears to be re-selling 250ml of a suspension for $40 that costs $350 for 10 litres. And it's still only 11.6% BTI.
Since I started buying my nutes as dry salts, I've begun to realise what the mark-ups are for relatively cheap compounds mixed with water. When I bought dry BTI, it was about $90 for 200g, and I'm pretty confident the guy selling that was doing ok.
I guess that's what keeps the world going round though, right?
Thanks again

Thanks. I read that some units come with the the pipe pre flared with threaded nuts so if you use the full length there is no need to cut and flare them. Is that right or out of date info?

I'm yet to come across that, what brand unit is it? The pipes are generally something you to buy separately, yet to come across a unit that has its own piping supplied with it

Just watched the video above, it's good video follow what he does except I wouldn't bother with getting a gauge unless you know someone with one, and also I've never taken the valve core out in my life, all hoses I've seen have a bit on them that opens the valve when you screw them on
