I Skeptically purchased some bags a few weeks ago (I got the quarter pound bags. I wanted to try their ounce and half pound bags also but they weren't available to buy in the smaller quantities I was looking for) and didn't want to give a positive review too early but here it goes.
First I put some freshly trimmed but FULLY dried buds in jars with bovedas and some in a Grove bag. 3 weeks later and they are pretty identical.
I also threw some old stuff I had just thrown in a zip lock and kind of forgotten about in a bag. I'm thinking it's probably been 8+ months that bag was just sitting in the garage. It was good smoke at one time but this stuff was so dry it just broke down to dust.
So I have left them alone (aside from checking a few times on the fresh stuff to make sure they weren't getting any humidity building up) a couple weeks now and they have the fresh stuff in a perfect place and The dried out stuff has been given a new life. I have already emptied any jars and bags I have laying around into their own Grove bags and they seem to be handling the smaller amounts just as well as the more full bags.
I don't know the science and this is pretty subjective but the bags are every bit as good as bovedas if not superior.
It will be interesting to see how these hold up over time but these would be a game changer for outdoor producers to sit on their product at harvest time without loss of quality.
Full disclosure: I have ZERO affiliation and have never received any free or discounted products from these guys. This is a product I was fully expecting to not work as advertised and to completely shit on. I will post an update if I find anything wrong or if they aren't staying where they need to be.
Anyways that's my rant
