Nobody "got their way", just trying to get through. You al got your way. I’ve stuck a 6500k cfl light into the grow. Happy? Or is that wrong to lol
If you end up switching back to LED as your plant gets bigger, you may experience light stress / drooping so I would suggest a light with a dimmer or initially placing it higher than you would normally.Ok my apologies. Well I’ve got a cfl in there atm aswel as the led lights I bought so let’s see what happens
Right, I was just about to ask if that is the 40watt red and blue? If sticking to a budget is the plan, I would atleast upgrade that light to a Mars hydro ts1000 or a spider farmer sf1000 (I use both in my auto tent). Both are full spectrum entry level lights that will produce a decent product for personal use. That’s 10% - 100% lol
The LED light you have is 40W draw not the CFL.The cfl is 40 watts yes as for the led each chip has its own watts but not sure what each are. Red and blue for the led. I think the cfl is blue. 6500k 45w. I’ve had the cfl from my last grow and forgot about it until earlier lol. So got both in currently. I will invest in more cfls nearer the time but right now only 1 has sprouted so it’s getting enough light. Has both the cfl and led on it and quite honestly it is looking better. I just wanted to apologise to the people above btw. Honestly I have no idea how to tag as this is first time using these threads lol but I apologise. I did feel there were a few snide comments that wasn’t needed but I do understand what everyone was saying and I’ve taken it all on board. I should not of started with the childish mum crap so I apologise. Feeling a little more confident about my grow now. I’d take a pic and show but I’ve got a feeling people will pull me up on the fact it’s stretched a bit lol shouldn’t now tho now that there’s a cfl right above it. Again I’m sorry and thank you everyone for your advice!!’
Plants in coco should be fed from when they sprout.Need to get some perlite to add to the coco choir when I transplant to another pot. Obviously I think using the vermiculite isn’t the best idea with coco but I will learn from my mistakes lol. It’s growing in coco professional plus. will be using canna coco A and B for food once there ready to feed.
Ok guess you know more than I do about that. GLYes I’ve heard that because the soil only has I think magnesium? Either that or calcium but I also no that they have the stuff they need in there first leaves so I’ve not fed them yet. Not until they have used up their stored energy
