Should I change my CFL's?

I have a White haze sativa going on 8 weeks flowering. She used to be an outdoor plant and had to be moved indoors due to someone snatching my main cola. I have 6 23w (100w) Daylight 6500K (cool natural light) cfls. Is that enough for one plant thats 4 1/2 ft tall? And, are those the right lights to use for flowering? If not please let me know what I should change it to, and how many you think I need? I have read that I need CFL's with around 3000K for flowering, I have also read that the ones I have will work. I dont know what to believe. If I do change to the 2700k/3000k should they be daylight, cool white, warm white?

Im not an expert, so i dont know how that will work out for you.
But i do know that the more light the better, I plan on using a 400-1000 watt HPS for flowering.

For flowering you need SOME red light but it's not critical. You'd want 2700 K if possible over the 3000 K. Haze can take a long time to mature so it's up to you if you want more cfls, if the indoor thing is just a one shot deal.
If you now see the advantage of indoor growing (total control of it's life) and want to do another one I'd get a 400 watt HPS light on it.

Ok, now I have 2 23w daylight 6500K lights and 6 23w soft white 2700k lights. The 6500k lights are pointing down on the colas and the other 6 lights are scattered and surrounding the plant. I have at least 4 weeks left to finish flowering. IS THIS GOING TO DO IT? I did see a 150w (46w) 2700k cfl, it was huge and cost 10 bucks for one. WTF? Should I have gotten those? Let me know if what I have is enough or if I should change it up.

Bigger is better the light will penetrate deeper into the plant. BTW I have a light meter and I did an experiment , I took a reading from the light coming off the side and off the tip. The light coming off the side was twice as bright. Most guys grows I see have no reflectors on the bulbs so half their light output is going to waste.

I do have a reflector on all the cfls but they are black and dont protrude past the coils. I dont know if that counts. 2 coils stick out past the reflectors. Is that good enough? Reflectors are easy to make. If I should have longer ones let me know, but longer ones would mean that the lights cant be within 3 inches, sooooo...???

Dude you need soft white for flowering 23w 2500k.The more kelvins in the flowering stage will make for fluffy bud with no ass........

Yea they are at least 10 bucks each. I went to wall mart, target, lowes, ace, and home depot today (Read the entire thread). Trust me, wallmart had the worse selection. They definetly did not have a 42w for that price. I saw the minis they had for that price but not 42w. Home depot is the only one who had them that big and they were 9.97 each.

if you look on google, there is probably a bulb supply store in town.
you can get 100 watt and less HPS bulbs that fit into a regular socket for less than 20-30 bucks.
for instance:

Well thanks for calling me a liar but I assure you Walmart has 42w 2700K CFL bulbs that output 2000 lumens for ....Thants right .97 cents right now . I know because I bought 10 of them today. On the package it says that Edison (Southern California) is absorbing the cost. THEY ARE 97 CENTS.

For some of you people that don't understand sales if it's not online then you need to buy the item's in the same state and sometime's in the same city,county or town the person got it from. I hope some people stop makeing a big thing out of this.

Heres some proof for you folks. I know its no big deal , but i'm trying to help you guys out. Not lie about prices of bulbs. Maybe not the same price everywhere but worth a try. 10 for 10 bucks = 420 watts of cfl. (seems like it was meant to be).

{ J T } : Yea, found out my neighbor showed his friend and he came back latter that night and swiped it. My neighbor invited him over the next saterday night and I got to kick his ass. But honestly, got no real satisfaction from it because it doesnt replace the plant. No matter what I am still never going to know how that part of the plant was. The main cola.... the heart of the plant.... need I say more?
