Best pump sprayer?

I have several cheap HDX ones and a more expensive Scott's brand one... they all suck.

The mist seems pretty good and it produces a constant, consistent spray all the way until it's empty.

Hudson users…. Do they do a decent job of spraying everything in the tank, or do you end up having some in the bottom that you have to toss?

I’ll only need to mix up a liter or so of solution each time, so hopefully it’ll be able to spray down to the last drop.

You have to hold it at a slight angle when close to empty but it empties it good

I don’t think I’ve ever had more than a half ounce in the bottom of the 2g tank

My cannabis garden isn’t huge, but I’ll also need to dose the veggie garden and landscaping that surrounds it to get any pests that are waiting on the sidelines…

Some even use it to treat property for mosquitoes. Nothing nasty goes in mine though

Yup. I’ve got a Meyer lemon with some leaf miners that could use a nice dose of spinosid… And we never have great luck growing peaches because they always get peach leaf curl. I need some peaches in my life, so I’m gonna give it another try once I’m armed with the proper tools. I look forward to showering all the plants in my yard with organic goodness.

Have you ever tried your Hudson with compost tea? I wonder if it would clog up?

I haven’t but it definitely crossed my mind. I think if you strain it should be fine. The uptake feed tube has a brass end on it which has decent size holes and keeps it on the bottom of the tank nicely

I haven’t tried it yet. Hopefully it’s not a problem that the corrugated rubber hose is squished a bit flat…

I’m sure it’ll work just fine. I’m only being picky since I just dropped $170 on it!

Yep. It works very well! I mixed up some spinocid and dosed the whole area around my plants (avoiding flowering plants so I don’t kill any bees).

I did notice that on the lower setting it’s more of a spray and not quite so atomized. Oh well, still WAY better than the little pump sprayers, etc, that I’ve used before.

Anyone try the little hand held vivosun pump sprayers? I need something cheap that will last a grow or so. I remember having a little hand held sprayer that held up all through my grows in the 90s. Now they can't even make one that lasts 5 uses...

You know there’s a valve on the neck to adjust flow too? Not just the one on hose end

Vivosun's droplets are bigger than the Chapin, so I have been using the Chapin for 3 years with no problems.
