Newbie grow

LMFAO.
You might want to read your posts again my friend........starting on page one.
When you got some negative comments about your lights, you listed all the technical info in order to somehow defend them.
You called people names when they disagreed with you..........including making derogatory remarks about their mothers.
In your post #113 above.........you still defend it by referencing the made-up testimonials.
Good luck.......you'll need it.
Wtf are you on about? I listed it earlier because someone was saying about it not being 40w that’s why I posted the specs of the light earlier on today. Because someone was asking!!!! The start of this thread people straight away started with the bullshit. I was defending the light at the start because I honestly believed that it would be ok. It is nearly a week later and I think completely differently about it. I posted the specs today because someone else was talking about it not being 40w and at first I had no idea what they were talking about so I went onto the orders and screen shot it to show the guy!!! So roll you neck in yeah? Was defending the light when I first created this post and now I ain’t.

Its not 40w

Its 10w max, enough for a seedling at best; note the 5V output and usb connector. Volts * amps = watts
It seems you're quite resistant to some reasonable suggestions. Carry on with the CFLs and enjoy the yields.

There's enough information in these forums to help anyone decide between a good or bad light. Same goes for nutrients. If your going to ask about either then put on your big boy pants and don't front. You say you only want to grow one plant for personal use, thats ok. Then you talk about prior experience with CFL's and mention you use Canna Nutrients. You got a new light for a reason, and you use top shelf nutrients for a reason. Be it bigger yield, better taste, or stronger effects, you wanted to do better. The number one way to do better is to start with a good light! I didnt say most expensive or most powerful. Just a light thats better suited. Why waste 4 months growing something substandard? Check the deals thread for lights you'll find many affordable options that will improve yield, and quality compared to what you have now. This isnt the greatest grow light, but for a few bucks you will see a noticeable difference that will convince you to invest in a quality light, then you can use this for seeds and veg.

This is what they look like now. to all the haters who took the piss out of me for growing under “disco lights” …… must be doing something right eh
Don't get all geeked up cause your plants sprouted. The point of all the harassment is that those underpowered lights will only take you so far. Those plants will grow thrive and bud under any light, but the results won't be that great. Think headache weed! Do Yourself a favor and check the deals thread there's a Sunraise QB2000 on sale for 88.00. It's a solid 200 watt light that won't disappoint. Normally it's a 200.00 light. Great for up to a 3x3 so you have wiggle room. Then use the light you have now for seedlings and clones.

As you complete your first grow, you'll look back and think of all the things you did wrong or could do better. You quickly realize that your light should have top priority. You're off to a good start by the looks of your picture's. Your light will be what takes you to the promised land more than any nutrients. Focus on lights first, then environment and strain your growing. After that any nutrients will work.

Good luck

Update on plants. Looking very good. Wish I didn’t do 3 now as one is dominating the rest lol plus not much space for 3 in the area I grow so will stick to 2 plants in future. What do you all think of them? Not had any problems at all. No over watering no under watering or nute problems.
