That's what I meant lol, epsom salts sorts it out. That's the beginning of a magnesium deficiency not calcium.

They like more food with powerful lights.I was having these same issues with one of the LED i am running (mars hydro fc3000) but my Luxx 645 pro I’ve had zero issues with. I started spraying magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) once a week at a rate of 1tbsp per gallon and it seems to have taken care of the issue. It’s only 2 weeks but all the new growth is nice and green and no more drooping or slow growth. I do see what some people in here are talking about being correct like raising RH which I’m going to do here soon I just ordered a small humidifier.Edit: I’d like to add I dropped the power back to 50% on the light.

I’ve used DE 1k hps before this for a while and never had any issues also been running the same line of nutrients since 2015 With almost identical ppm etc and I’ve only had this problem with the 300 watt mars hydro led. But not with the 645 watt luxx led. They like more food with powerful lights.
I’ll try that out. I’ve been doing that same ratio but for foliar and it’s helped quite a bitIndeed 1tbl per gallon clears mag issue up rather quickly
Is the Luxx a bar type light?I’ve used DE 1k hps before this for a while and never had any issues also been running the same line of nutrients since 2015 With almost identical ppm etc and I’ve only had this problem with the 300 watt mars hydro led. But not with the 645 watt luxx led.
Yes both are bar type. Mars has lm301b diode and luxx has lm301HIs the Luxx a bar type light?
Is the Mars more potent? Do you have a meter to check?Yes both are bar type. Mars has lm301b diode and luxx has lm301H
I had similar issues with the first gen HLG 288 boards I used for veg if I left them for more than 4 weeks under them but as soon as I put them under the 315 CMH lights they would clear right up I almost gave up on LEDs until I got the gen2 board no more mag issuesI’ve used DE 1k hps before this for a while and never had any issues also been running the same line of nutrients since 2015 With almost identical ppm etc and I’ve only had this problem with the 300 watt mars hydro led. Disagree I have always kept my VPD in line... I did have to learn one must bump overall room temps up since leds do not heat the leaves etc like hps CMHA lot of what people think are cal mag issues with LEDs are actually humidity vs temp issues. Looking into your vapor pressure deficit.
visible confusion lolCheck out lvpd leaf vapor pressure deficit I do not think enough growers pay attention once you get your girls dialed in you will see noticeably happier plants...
buying bulbs all the time full of toxic chemicals and the having to also dispose of them, whilst I am an all organic gardener just seems hypocritical to say the leastHPS..... Heater and dehumidifier all in one.
Where do you think your electricity comes from?buying bulbs all the time full of toxic chemicals and the having to also dispose of them, whilst I am an all organic gardener just seems hypocritical to say the least
I'm not ignorant to that fact but try to do what I can. I would love to just grow in the sun but that won't work out hereWhere do you think your electricity comes from?
My plants are doing great now and all I changed was supplementing mag and sulfur with Epsom salt. I didn't do anything concerning changing humidity ot temperature.A lot of what people think are cal mag issues with LEDs are actually humidity vs temp issues. Looking into your vapor pressure deficit.
True but you talked shit to this dude about bulbs while most likely driving a car, using electricity, taking long showers lol. No one here is better than anyone else. I don't get why you just tried to act like you are better than this person Because you grow organic lol.I'm not ignorant to that fact but try to do what I can. I would love to just grow in the sun but that won't work out here
I’m not sure when you should change bulbs but when I did use them I went years before I bought new ones. I think it’s more hype really saying they need changed every 6 mo.buying bulbs all the time full of toxic chemicals and the having to also dispose of them, whilst I am an all organic gardener just seems hypocritical to say the least
Exactly, when I used them I changed them once every year and a half to 2 years. And then I kept the old ones for back up.I’m not sure when you should change bulbs but when I did use them I went years before I bought new ones. I think it’s more hype really saying they need changed every 6 mo.
