Rather than talk out your ass, show evidence that raising the minimum wage affects inflation. There is plenty of evidence that it does not.

Inflation is to a marginal rise in the price of McD's burgers as Climate is to daily weather. I get that you can't see the difference but will allow you time so that you can at least sound out the words in my post.

Raising taxes on any business raises the cost of doing business. You jump to the conclusion that this means they raise prices. That's not how it works. There are plenty of alternatives, such as taking a smaller profit, changing plans for investments, deferring stock buy-backs to name just a few. Raising prices is not a direct outcome unless a company has a monopoly and can simply charge whatever it wants. But if they have a monopoly, the company is already charging as much as the consumer can bear. Like they do for some prescription drugs. So why not tax the shit out of the price gougers?
