You can get a nursery license. I think those were around long before legalization even when MMAR was still a thing but it was hard to get ack then. There was one in Langley which I think was the first one in 2012 ish.

The thing with a nursery license though is you can't sell to the public. LP's only. So basically useless for the average person.

I don't even know why anyone would want to be in Canada's legal weed business by the time you spend the million setting up you could have started a couple other businesses and still have enough to live on for 20 years while you build them.

I have used C.C.C (Canada Clone Consulting) recently and paid for 2 he sent me three. I received 1 Rockstar 1 Wedding Cake and they gifted me 1 Tom Ford. So far so good! No pests, clones came in pretty good condition they are only in day 6 in their new home (spider farmer tent) can post pictures if it would help.

Looks like one guy got powdery mildew.
Was hoping maybe others here had some first hand experience with other online sellers and the authenticity of the cuts . There seems to quite a few now using the gifting/consulting line. Maybe I should have posted a thread in the strain section instead of derailing this thread. I'll probably start one over there later.

Chances of getting PM or bug free clones are not that good, especially if these guys have lots of strains or supply bigger growers. Its hard to keep the room sterile and not introduce anything especially if you're using peat or coco based media for the mother plants. Maybe if they ran full hydro moms and had change rooms and sterilized things good but most growers can't be bothered.

That makes sense and I think you're right. What products do you recommend for powdery mildew - systemic ?
I guess I'll have to do some research on plant quarantining if I want to bring in clones.

Well Nova 40W if you want to smoke Hydrogen Cyanide if there's any leftover on your dry bud.
Once the plants are 6"+ spray with potassium bicarbonate every week.

Thanks AquaTerra for the recommendation. For sure if I was smoking the flower I would just manage the mildew with what you suggested. Now, I was thinking, if you bought some elite clones and assume it has powdery mildew couldn't you just spray it with the Nova 40W and veg it out. Then take clones from that. My limited understanding was that after about three months the myclobutanil is out of the system ?

Problem with PM is once you see it that the part that is already giving off spores and the rest sits inside the plant. I'd say with potassium bicarb, sulfur, copper spray and sulfur burner you could possible manage it. There are a lot of products line Benefect, Microban or Concorbrium that you can spray into the grow room to kill off the spores along with UV and Ozone filters.

Yeah for sure, I will post some pictures of the clones and again in a few months when the ladies go into flower. His cuts are definitely the real deal IMO. I will be returning Fer sure.
