Quick question

Hi, can anyone tell me if my plant is ok being outside of the tent for a few hours during the day? It’s a 7wk old photoperiod sour diesel, I also have two 8wk autos that are both blooming. The plants are out growing the tent and my apt is small so I want to give the autos some extra light during the day but I don’t want to hurt the sour diesel by leaving it outside of the tent for too long. Thanks for you help!

Sometimes the stronger light from the sun can damage your leaves if you leave them out in it too long, but they get used to it quickly. The main thing to look out for is pests, you can easily pick up some insect pests anytime they are outdoors. I'd spray them with something like neem or citric acid once per week while in veg, just for prevention. Good luck!

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean outdoors but rather in my bedroom with natural light and my lamp occasionally.

I’m not too worried about pests, I’m more concerned about any problems occurring because of insufficient light perhaps?

Plants need hardened off to be expose to direct sun
It won't show up right away but if you just go in and out it will eventually show the burned damage

You will be slowing the plant down by removing it from the intensity of the grow light/s in your tent. There is no escaping that fact. If the photos are in the vegetative stage then there is a decent chance the worst thing you will experience is slowed growth and possibly some unwanted stretch. If they are flowering, however, I would not do what you are proposing. Never deprive them of optimal conditions during flower.

Thanks! The plant is still in the veg state and I’ll keep it like that until I harvest the other 2 or find a new home for it.
