Bud size question

I keep reading that buds are at their biggest by week 6 then read the weight comes on the final 2 weeks.
So when exactly do buds stop gaining weight?
I’m at end of week 5 or 6 can’t remember started showing pistils aug 9 and flower clusters following week. But my buds are decent size but I figured they’d be bigger.
I did all organic and was confused on organic feeding vs synthetic at first but at week 3 I figured it out.
I’m hoping to achieve at least 2 ounces per plant

Early buds shrink alot when dried. Ripe ones stay tight and full

They stop gaining weight when you chop them down. You have a good couple of weeks before they even start to swell.

Looks like a lot more than 2 ounces a plant.

Worry about making it to the finish line without PM or bud rot instead of how much you'll get for now. You have weeks before those are ready and lot's can happen to outdoor plants.

So where I’m at now I could gain more size? My flowering nutes I’m just using stump tea sugar cane molasses and roots organic hpk bloom I was using pridelands bloom top dress but stopped at 5th week to cut out nitrogen.

These are within the week I’m still new to this..I just use it to sleep at least 4 hours a night, for my yield I aim low as I have clue with wtf I’m doing and I’m just winging it day to day really.

yes some rot already but very little I just pluck it out but tomorrow is rain so I’m worried on that

If possible you should try and cover them when it rains.

Looks like webs on your buds. Check for mites

Looks like it got hit with dandelions that blew to seed. I have to pick some off mine every year.

Yes your buds will keep growing and keep getting bigger. They are not the biggest at week 6. Not sure who is saying that or why? But, yes, your plants will keep growing and the buds will keep growing in size and filling out.

Like xtsho says, worry about pm and bud rot now while your buds keep growing.

no not mites there’s another type of weed growing around me that releases this white fuzzy crap I gave up pulling the stuff off plants.

haha it’s actually just goes away if I leave it be it’s very soft etc I stopped taking it off as I try not to manhandle the buds.
my issue is slugs and the trees above my plants drop the the black berry type things that explode on my buds and turn them purple moved em a few feet away and haven’t had issues since so a few buds smell sappy and skunky

Why cut N at week 5?

I keep reading n should cut out mid flowering to stop veg growth etc
