This is really starteing to bug me!

Hello fellow RIU members! My plants pleaded with me to give this section a visit, so here I am.

Mysterious holes keep appearing on my plant leaves. When I originally spotted it on a couple leaves I thought it was from me attempting lst using the bread tie style wires(below)and I was just too heavy handed and I punctured a few leaves. Just two days later I removed the plant ties, but each day after new tears in the leaves were appearing, even on plants I knew I didn't damage.


My sight isn't as good as it use to be so maybe a few of you guys with laser eyes for bugs can tell me if you spot anything or what I'm really dealing with here.


If anyone is wondering what the large white spots are it's leftover residue from me waterig the plants with a ½ tbls of myco.

Didn't notice anything till plants were entering week 4.
I have seen and killed at least three gnats inside of my tent.

Besides my sticky traps I do have this bottle of "organic" pesticide.

I have one of those cheap microscopes I can use later on tonight if that'll help.

Could be anything you have to wait until you turn the lights out and than when all is quiet go in the tent and find that bastard. Could be earwig, grasshopper, other crawly. Based on the size and locations looks like only one and he knows your looking for him

I did try to lst, afterwards is when the holes appeared. I do feel newer holes are appearing though.

These three plants don't get much movement from the two fans that are in use at the moment.

BK must be blind. There's definitely bugs. Get a scope and look closer.

You're in soil so grab some neem meal and top dress the plants. That will help deter bugs and feed your plant.

Ya. I don't use DE. I haven't seen a gnat in over 2 years also, but that's partly from top dressing with EWC.

The bugs I see aren't gnats though. Neem meal should still deter them or maybe kill them off slowly.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but those white things on the leaves look like bugs. I can't say what type though. I don't see the typical thrip marks, but it could be an early invasion, lol.

Thrips aren't that bad. But you need to use a loupe or microscope to really see. I prefer the USB microscope. Loupes are a bitch to see for me. Plus you can take pics with the USB scope and post them to get help. I bought mine to inspect trichs, but have used it to scope for bugs too.

A lot of these critters are so small you won't see them without a scope. I saw this Big Eyed Bug eat a mite when I was actually scoping this leaf. It was crazy. I didn't see shit, then I saw the mite and then I saw that guy attack and devour that mite in like a second. I was too late to capture it on video. He was too fast. I have a video of him licking his chops and legs after though. Haven't seen any mites since this pic, and this was taken almost exactly 2 years ago. 9-2-19.
