Hey guys in I'm Denver and tomorrow night is doing to be 28 for the low. Now it's only going to be 28 for a few hours and warm back up to 50-60.

My plants are huge like 6 to 7 feet tall.

Will they be okay?

maybe? they definitely wont be enjoying themselves though. ive seen people make tents out of visqueen or similar to help them deal with cold nights. not ideal, but better than nothing

Any way to cover for a night? I'm growing indoors but depending on the size of the plant it could be viable. I've done it with tomato vines as tall as 8' or slightly more. Plastic sheeting is cheap and can be pinned down with garden staples.

Looks fantastic! I wouldn't want to lose that. With a heater you can probably do a good job and get away without more than incomplete coverage just fine.
Yeah man I switched to DR. Earth dry amendments and it was the best decision of my growing life. Before that I was using liquid fertilizers and shit and there was possible over or underfeeding. So many random issues that could crop up. I used their vegetable one and the flower one and they are so healthy. the plants only take what they need and the beauty is that they always have exactly what they need. Seriously best grow I've ever had.

Depends on what time it actually freezes and for how long. More than a couple of hours and they’re probably toast. You can water them down just before freeze and the ice will actually protect them. Like in citrus orchards.

Shit. I just checked our weather. I didn't know it was gonna get so cold tomorrow. I'm up in Conifer, so the low up here at like 8000-9000 ft is supposed to be 17. All our garden plants are already dead from the cold. We had snow yesterday, lol.

It looks like it's gonna warm back up, so if they can make it through tomorrow you should be OK for now. We are in CO though, lol.

Didn’t realize you were that close. Shuswap for me. I’ve had the frost freeze the other night. Survived it. And they were wet from an impromptu passing afternoon rain. Tarp awning is up now through the weekend by looks of things. But I’m pushing them as long as I can.

Strain dependent certain strains can handle a few cold days with frost the general rule they say for most plants tho is below 10 c growth slows right down so it depends really
Oh they can definitely handle below 10c. That's 50f. It's been getting like 36f which is 4 degrees above freezing at 32f. And they are good. I'm just worried about a hard freeze at 28f.
